would the elders be waiting to talk to us?
i could go to a hall here it might be fun since i grew up 3000 miles away...... act like i didn't know what was going on and then bust out some amazingly complicated question that no one could answer because i would tell them that they could only use the bible *SHOCK*to answer it..... they won't know what to do..... <lol> and then i would walk out laughing

i was doing some cleaning this weekend and ran across a drawer with a few of my old calculators, including my very first one.
today they have ones that are credit-card sized that do more.
but i remember getting it when i was about 12 and in 6th or 7th grade and at that time in the late 70's a calculator this size was still sort of a gadget.. for some reason the first thing that bounced into my mind when i pulled it out and looked at it was my old hall at the time.
my little sister and i used to write notes back and forth. it was usually about the "brother" giving the talk. and for some reason my parents gave me my notebook with all my stuff when they moved out to california. (i guess they thought i would read the notes from the meeting and want to come back) really all i did was read the notes from my little sister and it made me pissed off once again that because of the witnesses and their stand on blood she's nothing but a box of gd ashes..... oh well.... those notes though make me smile when i think of her.

after i left the "troof" the first thing i did was run out and get a tattoo.now ,some 18 years later i still dont regret it.i even have gotten a couple of new ones in the past couple of years......i mean not that i am covered in them,but i think if a women has them ,there is nothing wrong with that has long as they are not all over everywhere.ie...neck,face or lower arms......... i just think it is sexy on a man..( a few....not on the same areas as the women ..ie..face and neck as well.
) but for a women to have them all over her is not attractive....i think for a women to have a couple in a suddle place..( like for your partner to see or find.lol) is sexy as well...this girl in our town, has them covering her face and arms.i just think she looks scary......(i do also think that they must be done professionally and kept realistic.
)...i know your not to judge a book by its cover but, this girl wonders why, parents will not let children to her house to play with her child?

well then why are you so offended by something that you have nothing to do with? or are you just picking a random point and running with it because you have nothing better to do with your time. fortunately, i have things to occupy my time, so i will be replying no further. mostly due to personal attacks from you that are neither grounded nor necessary. the biggest offense was calling me P.A.M. which we have disscussed, and you know where i stand.

getting out of the ghetto is an option. stay in school. get a job. get off of welfare. get out of the ghetto. that IS an option although you may think not it is. and before you go off on me being insensitive...... my family was homeless at one point. my mom and dad and all of us five kids. sure my parents could have went on welfare moved into the ghetto and sat on their asses. but they didn't they both started working 2-3 jobs. and we survived. there's a way out for anyone who wants to apply themselves and get there.
you ARE being over sensitive. the ghetto is NOT a race thing. even if you see it as such it is not!! it is a socioeconomic enviroment. and you are (once again) turning a thread into a rascist one.
how would children's deaths in ethopia be funny? once again you are comparing apples to oranges. the holocaust was horrific!! and yet you bring it up so flippiantly. children dieing isn't the same as a beaten down neighborhood. and ADULTS making a CHOICE to do drugs/ be a pimp/prositute/drug dealer whatever. these are CHOICES they've made. there are alternatives. what alternative is there for a child who doesn't have food? how is this the same situation?
