  Today my son told me that he can't stand this religion

  He is 14 y/o. I have talked to him TTAT. And he understands. He doesn't wanna be a JW. He told me that he has done some research about JWs on the internet and youtube after I talked to him.

  He told me today that he wants to get out. That he has cried with friends. I told him that we have to keep it low. That his mom, my wife is still into it even thought I have talked to her. That I have family in there and that we don't wanna be shunned by them.

  He told me that he loves me a lot. I told him that we will always be father and son. I told him that I will never leave him and that we had to wait till his mom and sister wake up.

  I'm lost here. I don't know what to do. Please everyone help me...

  'Anointeds' Do you know any and if so what are they like ?

  I was 28 when I started partaking. Everyone would look at me weird. Everyone would criticize me cause I was too young back then. Even one elder said that I couldn't be one of the anointed because of the way I partook my 4th time. I passed the emblems around then I sat in front when we were sat at the beginning. Then the speaker passed the emblem to us. I took a little piece of the cracker and ate it. The elder said that because I only took one little piece I couldn't be an anointed. He said that he was an expert, a know it all about the anointed. Now a take a big piece and I don't care who sees me. ( I don't wanna stumble anyone for taking a small piece)... lol...

  I am one myself. I started partaking for almost 15 years. I don't feel anything special. I'm still a human with all imperfections. I'm a sinner. (probably I'm the person that has committed more sins than others). I don't believe in the GB. I believe all Christians should partake of the bread and wine per Jesus' command and have the heavenly hope. If there are some so called anointed ones out there that believe that they have special insight or that they are so spiritual (including the popes from Brooklyn), they are assholes. There is nothing special about being anointed.

  that is what my professor of philosophy asked us last night at class.. he said that pontius pilate asked jesus that question and that it was a hard one that jesus couldn't answer.. what do you think about this question?

  Rumor: April 3, 2015 start of Great Tribulation?

  on another forum, somebody mentioned that there is a growing belief with those high up in watchtower hierarchy that the great tribulation will begin april 3, 2015. evidently, one has to check the skycharts for that date and compare with 33 ceand also compare with the history of jws for past 40, 80, 120 years.

  dont ask me to verify the rumor...these things come and go.

  im sure lots of people in hq believe all sorts of things.. .

  Worst Memorial Talk Ever!

  i honestly have never heard such claptrap being delivered in a memorial talk.. the speaker repeatedly put down the way other religions administered the bread & wine, and claimed that witnesses do it exactly as the bible describes.

  oh yeah????.

  he forgot to mention - when reading aloud 1 corinthians 11:25 - that after passing the bread, a full meal was to be shared, before the wine was passed around!

  That is right!!!!! No ONE of the 12 were anointed when they partook of the emblems. Jesus was the only one anointed and he didn't partake. The 12 were from the great crowd with earthly hopes. That is what the book of Acts says. They asked Jesus if he was establishing the Kingdom on earth. They didn't have a yearning to go to heaven. Listen, Obey and be Blessed... ;)

  I'm confused about the Memorial? Great crowd?

  this was my first memorial thinking outside of the box.

  last year i was starting to have questions but this is the first year i noticed a lot of bs.

  can anyone clarify a few things for me?.

  When Jesus eat the last supper, he was the only one anointed. The apostles were anointed at Pentecost. That being said, they were from the great crowd and Jesus told him to eat. They didn't have the heavenly hope. They didn't have the "yearning" to go to heaven as the WT says. According to the book of Acts, they were expecting Jesus to establish the kingdom on earth. So, no anointed ones partook of the emblems when the first memorial was established, when Jesus made the covenant with them.
