according to their spokeman, it's the first one to be held this year.
he is also quick to mention all the 'persecution' in russia, while staying silent on the worldwide abuse, and shunning issues (a form of persecution in itself, imo).. if anyone would like to help me add to the comments section, it'd be appreciated.

Santa Ana Man Sentenced to 60 Years in Prison for Sexually Assaulting Children He Met Through Church
A 42-year-old Santa Ana man was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison Friday after being convicted of sexually assaulting three girls, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Jose Luis Aguilera, 41, is seen in a booking photo provided by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Jose Luis Aguilera was found guilty on April 28 of four felony counts of committing lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14, with a sentencing enhancement that there were multiple victims, the DA’s office said in a news release.

Listener: They may not have mentioned a date but didn't someone point out that the year's text showing at the Kingdom Hall was the one they had for 1975?
Firstly, yes the yeartext match up, both for 1975, and then afterwards for 1976.

PV part of Jehovah's Witnesses convention

Jim Norick Arena at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City will play host to thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses and their guests, including those from Pauls Valley, over a three-day period May 19-21.
Delegates from Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas will flock to this annual convention, which carries the title, “Don’t Give Up!”

Jehovah Witnesses to hold regional convention in Pueblo

Faithful from across the region are expected to come to Pueblo for the 2017 Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.
This year's convention is titled "Don't Give Up," and will be held May 19-21 at the Colorado State Fairgrounds' Southwest Motors Events Center, 1001 Beulah Ave. The public is invited. There is no admission fee and no collections will be taken.
