i am working with paul grundy from jwfacts and with the administrator of avoidjw.org, and they are ok with me doing the work that i am doing right now, which is to try and complete, as much as possible, the availability of everything the wt has ever published, in pdf format.therefore, i will start listing in this thread what i have not been able to find anywhere online.

please let me know where i can find the pdf's for the following:(now, i know that there are multiple versions of these and that there are some that seem the same but they are not.

i am looking for the wt published versions of these publications.

So here's the Christian Greek Original Volume, shown below, which is the 1950 FIRST EDITION, along with the original green card bookmark (!)

Below are the 1963 Jumbo Bibles, showing the copyright dates

Now compare the two:

NOTICE - extra footnote, and extra 'cross-references'

I believe the extra cross-references are actually the 'CHAIN-references' that where added:

I understand that the Christian Greek Volume that AvoidJW apparently has is actually the REVISED 1 May 1951 EDITION (which also appears in the so-called Fatboy edition) and this appears to match the 1963 Jumbo Bible.

Does that make sense??

Anyway, I think you might - from a technical point-of-view - have this reversed?

What is the history of the Jumbo that AvoidJW is claiming to be the Jumbo?

hey, i've pasted below, a link to an article about the jw convention in the state of oklahoma, just sent to me by a jw relative.

according to their spokeman, it's the first one to be held this year.

he is also quick to mention all the 'persecution' in russia, while staying silent on the worldwide abuse, and shunning issues (a form of persecution in itself, imo).. if anyone would like to help me add to the comments section, it'd be appreciated.

About 10,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses coming to Columbus for conventions

Jeremy Brown says it does’t matter whether they are walking in neighborhoods knocking on doors or opening the doors of their regional conventions to the public, the purpose of Jehovah’s Witnesses is always the same.
“We are trying to give people hope,” Brown said.
On two weekends in June, Jehovah’s Witnesses will be holding regional conventions at the Columbus Civic Center. Everyone is invited to attend at no cost.
Convention spokesman William Goodman said more than 9,800 Jehovah’s Witnesses from Alabama, Georgia and Florida are expected to attend.

Major changes to convention security beginning in 2017

short info on interesting changes to the major conventions this year: there will be a new security concept that will be implemented at all regional conventions in 2017.. similar to other major events (e.g.

festivals, concerts), there will be admittance controls in stadiums.. - at each entrance, there will be a massive presence of attendants that look at each visitor.. - there will be pocket checks at the entrance.. - suspicious persons are no longer left on the convention grounds.. - suppliers to the stadium will be intensively inspected by attendants.. - there will be a special sign for attendants that must enter the stadium before 7.30 am.

all others (even all attendants) can only enter after 7.30 am..
