  Is "fornication" still used by Witnesses?

  in 2013 the revised nwt came out and changed the old edition's "fornication" and its related words "fornicating," "fornicator" etc.

  in all their roughly 70 occurrences.

  has the word completely dropped from usage in the witness world?

  No. (was it ever used?)

  Depending on the actual circumstances, one of the following expressions would be used (for 'fornication', 'porneia' would be used):

  • Adultery (Mat. 19:9)
  • Gross uncleanness (Eph. 4:19, Gal. 5:19)
  • Loose conduct (Gal. 5:19; 2 Pet. 2:7)
  • Porneia (Lev. 20:10, 13, 15, 16; Rom. 1:24, 26, 27, 32; 1 Cor. 6:9, 10; Deut. 23: 7, 18)

  Yeah, seems interesting, though the ex-jw community seems to be pretty good at distributing, and keeping online, various leaked info.

  The real benefit though may be in encouraging new leaks via their submission process.

  Can all 7 members of the Governing Body ride in this elevator at the same time?

  in case the picture didn't load.... i'm referring to an elevator with a (quite common) weight capacity of 1,500 lbs.. would the 7 members of the governing body exceed this weight limit??

An elder should not assume the responsibility of recommending a specific practitioner or facility. He may draw attention to or discuss material in the publications that provides cautions regarding therapies that may conflict with Bible principles. (w88 10/15 pp.28-29; w82 6/15 pp.25-29; w75 pp.255-256) While participating in group therapy by a professional therapist is a matter for personal decision, there could be a revealing of confidential facts about other members of the Christian congregation during such sessions if a Christian does not exercise discretion.

  i think everything has to start somewhere, and you can see the passion and commitment from those loyal 50 that showed up in warwick yesterday.

  the event was not very well organized but you could see the passion & dedication from most of them.

  and i think they at least touched a couple of people at the kh yesterday.. having an annual day of action actually inspires me.

At some point, some idiot is going to go too far and hurt someone. There was someone on here last week posting videos who obviously has serious mental health issues - applauding this is dangerous.

  None of this convinces anyone, it just reinforces everything that they have been told about people who leave.

  hey folks, so i made this video as a response to some of the youtube apostates about my vast apostate army recruitment video.

  i'm getting overwhelming comments and messages regarding it and a couple people have called it "the apostate manifesto".

  The idea seems to have originated around eight years ago.
  

  I believe the date - November 5 - is tied in with the video below.

  In addition, the original idea (?) appears to have also included trying to get as many ex/former-JWs to attend the Sunday public meeting at KHs around the world on this one day, as a passive display of the 'vast' number of ex-JWs.

  I think that 2017 is the first year that November 5 has fallen on a Sunday since 2006.
