  My Parents have gone FULL CULT MODE! Having a job is SATANIC!

  to give a little background, my parents are in their late 50s.

  around a year ago, my elder dad got laid off from his job.

  he worked as a auto mechanic making ok money.

  The CO's that have advised them will be long gone, and the congregation that applauded them will tell them they have family (you) and you should now pay for them.

  Splash- I might sound heartless here, but so be it. I WILL NOT support someones pioneer lifestyle as they WILLFULLY turn down viable employment. Its not my problem. Since I followed the WT guidelines, I can barely make ends meet right now for me and my family. I can not and WILL not support anyone else.

  You should write them a letter, and keep a copy for the day that will inevitably arrive when their straits become more dire.

  if it is, that would explain why it has been hard to find his military record, or any other biographical information about him.. .

  i didnt play with any other google words yet but comment is getting a lot of publicity!.

  I think that all of the persons on this forum that are mocking this genuine brother of Christ are ignoring important medical issues.

  What brother of "sound mind" would want to catch this?

  Can you really get a yeast infection from wearing tight pants?

  the only video that i've found of tomo is 39:00 minutes long - the ending is missing.. various posts mentioned highlights of the tremendous witness in august, with a 900% increase in ap's, as well as some other magnificent accomplishment that i cannot locate.. then i painfully listened to the video to verify, and at about 38:00, tomo bemoans the downward trend in bible studies.. the best august of all-time, yet downward trend.. looks like the toilet bowl is swirling.. .

  Now, another aspect of dress and grooming that Satan increasingly is using is tight suits and tight pants, otherwise known as "tight pants." (Chuckles)

  Well. I have talked to many, many sisters, and I have asked them what they think of these "tight pants."

  And, you know what, I have not yet found one sister that likes my these tight pants.

  Furthermore, most of you sisters know what you want in a real man, and a number of you may even one day want to have your own little family after you have pioneered for a sufficient amount of time.

  Well, most sisters know what tight pants will do to a man regarding his ability in that area.

  Is that what any of you really want, whether you are a True Christian sister or brother?

  Now, it is an established fact that the fashion industry is a tool of Satan the Devil, and that that wily Devil is using the homosexuals to design these tight pants.

  Why is that?

  As a stimulus for sexual activity condemned by our loving heavenly Father.

  Now imagine if a married couple has been stimulated by the Devil-inspired, homosexual, fashion industry, and their tight pants.

  And then, what happens to that couple?

  We don't even want to think about what that couple might end up doing.

  However, do you think that our all-seeing God is not watching that couple, even in the seclusion of their bedroom?

  Not for a minute.

  That couple will need to answer to God.

  i find it curious that so many are offended at the comments used by anthony morris iii.. when he publicly states that colourful socks, tight pants and spanx are not part of a christians life, he is teaching a lesson.

  the lesson for the flock is not to wear colourful socks, tight pants and spanx.. however,.

  the lesson to all the congregation elders is to ensure that these lessons are driven home in their respective congregations.

  i found out that my husband has not only gone to the elders, but has been going to members of my family about me over a period of a few years.

  this piece of news is just so depressing.

  i've been wondering how my family knew i didn't go and thats why so many of them have becoming more and more distant.

  I don't think I've ever felt so betrayed...

  This is the feeling that I have about my wife.

  The things that she has said to MY family (as well as, more lately, hers) and the elders, all behind my back, simply infuriates me.

  I told her I would have preferred that she had slept with someone.

  As most are saying here, it's what we've been taught.

  It is in our best interests to be completely dependent on the group.

  They promote education - therefore higher incomes for tithing.

  They encourage civic involvement - hence, acquiring influence.

  They discourage waste on tobacco, alcohol, Starbucks - hence, better savings.

  The Mormon lifestyle is logical.

  JW's are a stupid cult.

  Is the WTS effectively 'pimping out' sisters?

  i can't remember the topic with the discussion about the talk where they suggested that sisters should only consider ministerial servants as potential marriage partners but think about the implications more.. are they trying to use the potential affections of sisters to enourage brothers to do more and work harder?.

  isn't this a form of 'pimping out' the sisters by limiting their attention to the people contributing to them?.

  it seems to cross a line to me but i guess it's not vastly different to "only marry another jw".. what do you think?.
