Wasn't it available end of Dec. or Jan. in the past - and in the Jan 1 WT, which would have been available early Nov? -

New layout feels very chaotic
by EndofMysteries ini don't really know how to describe the feeling but i'll give examples, but the new layout to me makes it feel tiring being on for too long.
1. there is the top menu, then a big add between that and the next part, a big ad between the bottom and where you reply, then on the right column you either have 2 ads on top or some type of summary, then ad, then either related posts or other areas.
there are no borders, the adds have the same color and text type but larger font, and it all seems chaotically merged into one thing where you need to constantly sort out what you are viewing.

First off, as I posted a while back, I do not understand why you simply do not use v-bulletin. It's only about $15. per month, and is crazy-user friendly, and user- familiar. (eg. http://forum.calgarypuck.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 )
That being said:
3 suggestions that I would make so far are:
1. Having only the first 3 lines of each particular post displayed, with a "Read More" link to go to that post, as well as a rollover feature that displays the full text of that post.
2. The " >> " on most, if not all, forums and searchable sites means "go the last page. (The " > " means go the next page.)
(check page bar http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=100481&page=340 )
3. When submitting a post, most have the Save or Post button to the left, and the Cancel button to the right. (I have already cancelled posts instinctively.)

By the end of the summer, hundreds of volunteers had painted, swept, mopped, scrubbed and spruced up hundreds of rooms.
It's not about the money - it's about free labour.
Brachna said the Jehovah’s Witnesses lucked out when they discovered the property.
Awake June 8, 1992
God did not approve of those who naively trusted in gadh, or Lady Luck, to solve their problems. Relying on luck was equated with leaving the true God, Jehovah.

The Kingdom of God Does Not Mean Eating and Drinking
by berrygerry infurther to a post with the tribute to led zeppelin in 2012 at the kennedy center - finally watched the whole show.. the ballet is amazing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=im86gynu97o.
got to thinking about life in the jw new world.. there are never pictures of the arts, sports, or anything of merit.. then reflect on the verse that the kingdom of god does not mean eating and drinking,.
and yet, conversely, jesus and solomon talked of food and wine as being given to make the heart of man rejoice.. wth?

WTH? Is this contradictory?

Seriously !!!!
34:43 of the vid - Did ZZ Top listen to this or what?
"The funny thing is - when you sing the blues, you lose them. And ain't that a beautiful thing."
And then, Tracy Chapman, Jimmie Vaughn, Jeff Beck, and Bonnie Raitt.
(Sweet Home Chicago - shout out to John Belushi.)
Groovin' Obamas. Never seen Letterman actually real and actually happy.
God bless rock and roll (including the blues).
(Better listen to them while you can, because they will be executed soon, and there won't be none of this idol-worship nonsense in the new world.)

I am going to wait to post my thoughts, as I HATE global change (GENUINE incremental improvement - YES).
I cannot login on my android phone, and it crashed my android browser (which peeves as I leave certain pages open as a quick reminder instead of bookmarking every page).
Also, could not access original email - fortunately username did work for me - not complicated Simon, to insert Sign-in "Enter username or email."

They're hoping lawyers won't sue a broke CO that took the "vow of poverty".
Though I still think a jury would find that the CO is working in behalf of the WTS/GB.
It will be interesting in the future pedo cases with the appointment procedure change.

Festivus - Revisited
by berrygerry ini have been a devout promoter for many years.. sadly, today, of all days, i was forced to re-examine some of the practices involved with the celebration of this holiday.. i was leaving a store, and was stunned to see a festivus pole struck down and abandoned.obviously, this must have taken place at night, and the culprits were hunting poles without a license or permit, and were interrupted at the last moment, and then fled.what a senseless slaughter!how often is this happening?.
and then, i got to thinking.how many festivus poles are left outside - vulnerable?how many of these poles then wander the neighbourhood in search of prospective mates?currently, in my city, there are no by-laws regulating pole mating behaviour.. and poles being poles, baby poles are thereby brought into this world, and tragically abandoned (and in winter, no less).is there a worse sound than a pole cub mewling for its mother?
i think not.. so, festivus people, if you keep your poles outside, please, please, at least have them spayed or neutered.. happy festivus!.
