  a five-year-old boy with a brain tumour has been taken without consent from hospital by his parents, sparking a major police hunt for the family.. ashya king was taken from southampton general hospital and is now believed to be in france with his parents and six siblings.. police said he needs constant medical care and there are "serious concerns" for his life if he is not found today.. brett king, 51, and naghemeh king, 45 removed him from the ward on thursday.. ashya's father was pictured taking him from the hospital"everyone is sending their love now.

  awhile a go i was uptight about a matter i can't remember now and my friend said to me " give the other side the victory".

  a while ago my little boy was getting uptight and argumentative with his mum i asked him " to let it go" in effect i suppose " giving the other side the victory".

  anyway i am sure our life exsperiences have allowed us both receive and give good advice.

  I can see just how sincerely that was written.

  i get you genuinely feel you have all the answers, and are doing exactly the right thing.

  what you fail to understand is that we have all been exactly where you are right now.

  sadly all the things that you claim jws are known for is NOT what they are known for, try this on for size..... what they actually are known for is paedophilia, allowing their children to die from want of blood transfusions and the arrogance of preaching their faith to others

  so, as this organization is dvivinly guided...how did Jehovah f*ck it up so badly with that lovely cover of the watchtower with all the old farts, saying this generation would not pass away? whoops, guess he lost it a bit on that one

  and what about blood and fractions, one minute theyre ok, the next they're not? SO.... Jehovah, certainly has trouble with consistency doesn't he?

  not much cop as a god is he????

  when I PERSONALLY, saw a child being abused, why did the hierarchy of HIS organization conceal it so the perpetrator was able to destroy many other lives?

  These people who so love us...............yeah...........provided we follow THEIR views of life and the world exactly. don't you know that's not love?

  LOVE is actually when you care enough about others and their feelings to allow them to be happy, accept that they are gay, or have a different path to tread.

  thank you for that message, you just demonstrated to me , EXACTLY where I went wrong with my earlier life.

  craig winn is one of the most authoritative individuals of islam there is, he's done more research and written extensive on why islam is so dangerous.

  his books were written after 9-11-01, now when you listen to his interview get the gist of why islam is not "the religion of peace", it's quite the opposite and even if anyone claims it is, the most respected leaders of islam are blunt with their desire to purge the world of all non-islamic religions.

  that never works out well for them because they get rid of all their workers, intellectuals and professionals who flee to some place they can worship or not worship in peace.

  bucket bill, you need to re think your version of history. for generations islam encourage thinkers, acedemics, learners..

  the very words alchemy, algebra and algorithms indicate their Islamic origins

  the textbook that laid out these principles was in use until the 16th century.

  they gave the world the Arabic numeral

  the developed geometry much more than previously.

  they invented trigonometry.

  they also preserved and saved much Greek and roman learning.

  when my forefathers were primitive they had much more advanced medicine.

  a guy called Al-Rahzi during the 9th and 10th century is credited with being the father of pediatrics, obstetrics and ophthalmology. he is also credited with surgery on a cataract.

  amazingly he used alcohol as a disinfectant

  this is all centuries before the west had anything like this.

  the west behaved abominably during the crusades.

  we would be ignorant in the extreme were we to deny any of this legacy. we are only were we are now because we stand on the shoulders of giants.

  however, it does raise an interesting question as to what has made the fundamentalist apparently totally reject their past history of learning. I wiukd suggest that it may well be a reflection of the apparent and pretty obvious inequalties that face the majority of the world compared to the wealth and privilige of the west.

  I doubt that atheists as a whole actually care what other people believe in, until that is, you look at all the evil done in religioms name and then find yourself accused either of being less moral or less decent etc than those who choose to believe in a deity .

  this pisses me off, after all the news agencies that point out that things such as the ferguson shooting were a white man killing a black "kid" (18 years old and if an 18 yr old is accused of commiting a sex crime then suddenly they are a "grown man").

  now look at this story from ny times, "a 32-year-old marine was beaten by a group of men outside of a mississippi restaurant after he was warned it wasn't safe for white people in the wake of the michael brown killing in missouri," .

  so black on white crime, i guess they can't say "a group of black men", it just has to be a group of men?

  your cops are amazing, I have been driving for almost three decades, I've been stopped by a few cops. I've never found them to be other than friendly, decent people doing a vital job.

  they never have their hands reaching for their guns, never..

  that alone should make people re think their pro gun stance.
