Irregular and Inactive... sounds like bowel and urinary tract issues.
LOL! I was kind of thinking the same thing
Thanks again everybody!

what does it mean when a jw says they are "inactive"?
does it just mean they don't go door to door, or does it mean they've stopped attending meetings too?

Thanks for the quick reply. So being inactive does not necessarily mean they quit meetings too?

once i left i became about as "worldly" as a person could get.
world that once i left i went totally out of control.
when i left, .
Welcome. You've come to the right place. There are a lot of people who understand what you're going through. Now you know the real "truth" and it will set you free.

i sent a pm to one of the forum assistants telling him this, and he said i should post and let everyone know how it went.. i didn't want to do this until mario posted first, because it's about his daughter, not mine.
but, i know all you wonderful people out there are waiting for some news on the memorial service, and i think mario is too grief stricken to be able to write right now.
sometimes these things hit you harder after it's all over, because now you have more time to think about it.
For any JW out there who is spewing about how bad the world is and how there is a loss of natural affection, they should read these threads about Talia and all the people who have reached out to her family. Pretty nice, for a bunch of wordly trash, huh?

iam very new to this forum.
so glad to meet all of you.
ive been reading here for quite a while but never felt the need to join in.
First of all, welcome to the forum.
My aunt is a FANATICAL JW, and she married an atheist. They have been married over 20 years and are MISERABLE. They have 3 kids, and that is probably the only reason they remain together- neither is willing to give the other control over the kids. The kids are the most socially dysfunctional people I've ever seen. I'm sorry to be so negative, but if she is at all serious about her faith and you don't share that faith, you've got nothing but trouble ahead. Stick around, you'll learn a lot here. Maybe you'll be able to help her leave the JWs someday.

Thanks for sharing, Hubert. I'm glad someone was able to be there in person for Mario.

remember this quote;
"the apostle paul was spearheading the christian missionary activity.
he was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century.
It's on the 2003 CD too.

thanks for all the input.
i slept on it and decided to send this final draft to them.
what message do you think julie is getting from her cousins and friends at the kingdom hall?.
That is a great letter. It is just sick that they would hurt your daughter that way. I doubt your letter will change their minds, if they are cruel enough to behave that way in the first place and call it "spiritual". At least you can let them know what a$$holes they are.

my wife and i got on a discussion about something i never would've guessed we'd need to.
she wants to teach our new baby about santa claus, easter bunny, & tooth fairy, but i don't.
of course, as witnesses we never would have taught that, and i have to acknowledge that i may only be reasoning using that old set of values.. i don't want to look into my kid's eyes and tell her something that i know for a fact isn't true.
Another part of the myth I don't like is the belief that christ was born Dec. 25 th .
Heathen,
I am a Christian, and while I celebrate Jesus' birth on December 25th, I know that is not His actual birthdate, and I've never been to a church that teaches that it is. Are there people who teach that it really is?
