Oh, you lasted much longer than me. I was df'd in 1991 (I think). I've only been a "Big A" for the last two years.

"No offense...but the part that surprised me was that 2 regular pioneers could afford to go on a cruise, along with the plane tickets they purchased...."
Yeah, that got me too.
The moral of the story brothers... Don't JUST put in your minimum hours! Keep on preaching! You can never do enough! Don't have one second of fun! The end is SO close! blah, blah, blah

"Welcome to the Wonderful World of AIDS"
Ya know... this just REALLY pisses me off. I've been df'd for 15 years now. They were telling another version of this story 18 years ago! Do they really think the "rank and file" are so stupid that they don't remember the "lipstick on the mirror"? I bought it the first time, but obviously, they are lieing when they retell it with different people involved this time.
Also, (since everything they say is the gospel truth - GAG) who's CONFIDENTAL judical commitee did they get this info from? Isn't all the dirty little sins supposed to go into that envelope and never looked at until reinstatement?
Oh, and the "Head of Oxford". Maybe it did happen just like he said. But me thinks the guy was joking... closed the door and busted out laughing at the grade school literature this "brother" was peddling.

Hi, Mario.
You don't know me. I'm a "lurker" that has been following this whole story in silence. I have your story saved and I check on you everyday.
I don't know how it feels to lose a child, but I can imagine that the grief seems unbearable. I'm so sorry. I have friends that lost a child. They have had a VERY painful couple of years, but it does get better with time.
PLEASE hang in there. Everyone on this board loves you and wants to help you.

The Untold Smurf Story -- Soldier of Fortune / XJW Edition January 2005
by Bendrr innote to mods: this issue has been edited and i'd like to re-submit it for the perusal of jwd.
leaving no shark unjumped, sof's xjw staff is thrilled to present our readers with an all-new format.
we're now a website instead of crude jpeg's, though we're still proud to be crude.

Yeah, they aren't too far from where I grew up. One time I went back to visit my mother and she decided that she needed to go there. She told me I needed to sit in the car (because I was df'd). This was after she told me that a couple of the kids from that family are df'd also. I don't know if they are reinstated or not, but I think at least one of them was still working at the family business.

Awh yes, the FEAR of apostates... I DEFINATELY had that. I thought the demons were going to jump out of my computer. Well, I soon found out that the fear of apostates (and the fear of demons) were just more silly little scare tactics that the Society uses to keep us in the org. and keep placing those mags. I remember taking my "Crisis of Conscience" book to my mother's house. I told myself that if I saw ANY demonic activity there (like the cupboards opening and closing on their own) I would hi-tail it back to the KH. Well guess what... nothing. With that and all the failed prophecies, I've decided (for myself) that they don't have the truth.
Oh, and that WORD... I don't like their label. To them it's a dirty word. I know that in the dictonary it's not as bad as they make it to be, but I still don't like the negative connotation they put on it.
Welcome to the board!!!

Yesteday...
by mrsjones5 inwe decided to go to ohio to see family since there was no snow and so the kids could get their presents from their grandmother.
before we left out my husband wanted to stop at his favorite eletronics store because they were having a really good sale on speakers.. we go to the store.
hubby goes in, buys speakers, and comes out with the salesman to load the speakers into our van.. after the speakers are loaded the salesman tells my hubby he wants to give our kids something but it's in his car.

Just think... he's probably counting his time the whole time he's at work!
I just destroyed all my literature that isn't worth money on ebay. After 15 years of being df'd and realizing that I was brought up in a cult, it was time.
