Yeah recently. Because I am still in but mentally out and elder gave me some money when my son was vborn because he knew I had to take off almost a week of work during last week. But that is his personal giving and is not what I have seen from the congregation... They are all mostly wondeing when my wife will be back at the hall... She just gave birth you morons...

by jam ini'm not talking about a individual, but a congregation as a whole.. i'm talking about a brother or sister that really hit hard times.. have there ever been an occasion where the brothers (elders).
decided to dip into the kh funds and help one in need????.
example, brother loose his job, get evicted, family of four or.

It's funny the KH gets 50 mainstreamers every sunday and maybe 100 on Co visits etc.
We used to have 3 congregatrions here in english... now it merged to two. A third was added but is is korean and to top it off the sign on our hall was changed to Korean sign. Now only Korean people know this is a 'Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses' LOL

Misquote in the Creation Book

it pains me deeply that he sent me an e-mail recently saying that to keep the peace with my mom, he will stop communicating with me as much as possible.
i should communicate with him only if i have an emergency.. it upsets me to no end, but i cannot do anything or much about it.

Alot of witnesses distrust wikepedia... I mean look up 'Genesis' and see what you read. I shows Genesis is mostly 500-300BCE Jewish literture.
The WT can't have it and a normal JW mind willl put up a wall.
But the clue is that for every quote is a source which by clicking on the number reveals the quote... often by secualr sources of importance...

To clarify I have heard the same exact arguments fro the creation book in Kent Hovind's videos (which are comedy lol)
This means they used the same creationist source. The WT was using creationist propoganda when they made the creation book.
To top it off the editor who inserted comments (Franz?) was extremly uneducated because he felt natural selction = chance. Dawkins debunks this publication in his book "The God Delution"

Do you think the age has passed when there can be no new religions?
by truthseeker ini think we are already living in the age where there can be no new religions.
we have access to information like never before and anyone claiming revelations of something new and starting a whole new religion can easily be discredited.. christianity and islam may continue to subdivide but i think we've pretty much seen the end of anything new in terms of a new belief system.. .
what are your thoughts on this?.
