  last year i had a brother tell me that one proof evolution is false is that he doesn't see it happening today... i was going to bring of viruses evolving so fast that new vaccines must be developed each year but felt he was too closed minded to receive it.

  so i have started down the path of trying to understand evolution, and to get the linear lies that the jws planted in my head out of it.

  i bought an audiobook called "evolution: what the fossils say and why it matters" by donald prothero.

  i heard it recommended on an atheist podcast that i listened to.

  The proper perspective is to think like this:

  You have parents and they no doubt have a brother/sister who has kids... your cousins. Go back to you grandparents and many second cousins are found next to you. Go back another generation and many more cousins show up. Go back far enough you find you are related to every person on earth only a few 10s of thousand years ago now go further and further. At 5.7 million years ago you meet an ancestor that is ALSO the ancestor of chimps (And Bonobos) Go back more you met more cousins through more of your ancestors. At 80 million years ago you find almost all mammals are your cousins including the ones in the sea. Go back 300 million years ago your ancestor is in the sea and you are cousins with all amphibians, reptiles, birds and other mammals and some fish. Go back 1.5 billion years not only is you ancestor one-celled but you are cousins with your pine tree lol. Go back to 2.8 billion years ago you reach LUCA. He is the ancestor of ALL life on earth making them all your cousins (Viruses are debatable). From there it's a chain down only one family tree to the origin (or one of the origins) of life about 4 billion years ago. (Hey we can drag this back 13.7 billion years and show that we are part of the universe)

  Basically this an another example Dawkins gave of bird are examples of ring or circular evolution. One on side of the valley the salamanders are a different species then the other (they can't interbreed)However running all along in a northerly ring is a series of intermediates that can interbreed. Yet on the opposite ends they are a different species.

  With me genetic evidence is 100% proof but if you want to see it happening before your eyes here is the proof. .

  Spirituality (as in realizing the universe is greater and awesome and still has mysteries etc.) Yes

  The moment you trade off your mind to a non-existent deity in the sky you lose any sense of wonder or deep thought

  well jesus has handed the kingdom back to jehovah and satan and his demons are dead forever... peace on earth.. great... a million years go by...the human brain would not hold even 1000 years of memories accurately... indeed the former things would not be called to mind but... 2 billion years... oh i's damn hot the sun is running out of hydrogen.... 5 billion years jehovah sit back laughing... we are all dead... unless we move away from earth... not only is the sun a red giant but andromeda has collided with the milky way and rendered our galaxy no longer a spiral galaxy.. navigation is impossible out there.. 2 trillion years.

  oh ... if we existed.. we would have no idea theven is a universe.. the expansion is so far that we can't see beyond our own galaxy ... the heaven declare jehovah diminising glory.. 100 trillion years... the galaxy is gone... stars are burning out... in fact atoms are destabilizing... jehovah will need to remake us... likely in to positronium.... dark energy is so powerful we can feel it... assuming we have bodies anymore.... 100 to the 100 power years.... black holes evaporate away,...we have an almost 0 energy universe .. well except for dark energy which is now so powerful matter cannot exists.. 100 to the 200 power years... well there is no mater or energy except for the energy of the vacuum (quantum fluctuations) dark energy had literally torn this universe apart and assuming m theory... that it... jehovah and jesus laugh hysterically..

  Rogue that is a theory in physics though not held by many,. More plausible is the multiverse (M theory almost demands it) Regardless THIS universe will die and revert to nothing.

  When was the book of Lamentations written?

  so i was researching about 587 and 607 and couldn't help but notice that the wbts states that the writing of the book of lamentations was written by jeremiah near jerusalem and was completed in 607 bc.

  chapters 2 and 4 of this book describe jehovah's anger towards jerusalem and the terrible effects of jerusalem's siege taking place in chapter 4. can someone clear this up?

  Lamentations is one of the few books I feel is complementary with the events it records. It likely has a historical core. Other city laments were added on later to make the acrostic style.

  I have a theory about this book.. The Book of Enoch seems parallel to Daniel which makes me think it needs to be places between 170-164 BCE.

  Why was it not accepted and Daniel was? Daniel threw the Maccabees a bone... saying ' a little help'... Enoch didn't.

  Also Enoch was invented out of the blue... Daniel was based on a Syrian magician.

  When the Hamoneans (Maccabees) gained control for 100 years they edited every biblical text.. Daniel barley slid through as part of the writing. But Enoch lost out. However a bone was thrown to this test in what was added in Genesis 5. And that ALL that was mentioned of him.

  The only other places in the bible canon that mention Enoch is Jude and Hebrews which are late texts... Hebrews author was on drugs...lol
