  Genesis and the Babylonian kings list.

  the babylonians believed that the gods were immortal then they had offspring that were demigods and then they had humans so the first two of the list are different than the genesis writer wrote in chapter 5. this is how the names are translated.. babylonian kings list, genesis chapter 5.

  1. aruru=a god 1. adam=man.

  2. adapa= demigod 2. seth=gift of god.

  Moving

  this is my half reason i canlt leave jws;s is i need them.. for now... the same elder that gave me $100 when m wife just gave birth... and helped me find our car.... helped me find guys to help me move.

  moving from an apartment to a trailer.. but... as much as i love these guys as people i know they only help because they are witnesses.... .

  i still need them for now.. if i ever can get my wife out of this it meansit's alot arder.. oh well.

  Moving from an apartment to a trailer.. BUT... as much as I love these guys as people I know they only help because they are Witnesses....

  I still NEED them for now.. if I ever can get my wife out of this it meansit's alot arder.. oh well

  the bronze age ended in 1200 bce in devoloped places and later ... aroun 900-800 in other places.

  indeed read 1 samuel 13's ending.. the bible was produced not one tiny bit in the bronze age.

  Focus: Well actually my angle if you watch my posts is writing a book on the creation of the biblical text itself. Wht I post here are drafts... unedited for spelling or clarity.

  Often, like right now, I will stop for awhile and do futher research. For instance now i'm dealing with if any of the Pslams date form the Omride dynesty. Several do it seems and this slows me down.

  As for the WT .. she is digging her own grave. The Governing body are figureheads. The Writing commitie are the real controllers.

  i continue to be stunned by posters reporting on the convention, lamenting the convention, complaining about going in serve-us and meetings, and yet continuing to participate in these activities.. a simple question.

  how long have you done these things, fully knowing it is absolute bullshit?.

  i couldn't handle it for more than six months before i basically outed myself.

  my friend, mike works as a massage therapist, and there is a woman at the shop that is super-jw-woman and is constantly hounding him with things.. today, he's messaging me and he tells me that she was trying to push a brochure or something on him.

  he said he'd really rather not read a religious pamphlet.. so... she says, "it's not religious... it's from god.".

  isn't that kinda what religious means?

  if there is any book to convince one that jws have no truth this is it.. the first 9 chapter are sacrficial laws.

  chapter 1 is interesting for me as i work in a chicken packing plant..... the later half of the chapter describes birds sacrifice.... ugh.. who would eat this litmited processing by dirty priests..... .

  chapter 10 shows a bad god-jehovah killing drunken sons.

  If there is any book to convince one that JWs have no truth this is it.

  The first 9 chapter are sacrficial laws. Chapter 1 is interesting for me as I work in a chicken packing plant..... the later half of the chapter describes birds sacrifice.... Ugh.. who would eat this litmited processing by dirty priests....

  chapter 10 shows a bad god-Jehovah killing drunken sons. And a pissed off Moses who wans preiest to gorge themselves

  Chapter 11 is food laws which honestly I can say are not bad bt I still like pysters and shrimp lol and pork..

  Chapter 12 I think is sex discharge... No comment (better not)

  13-14-15 is a block of leprosy...? I find it funny especially since the NWT uses 'warp and woof' as a tanslation'

  16 is day of antnoment which borrow so many things from Zorastrianism it's not funny...

  17-26 is shocking... This is the gay basing stuff but also sick things... Even laws for poor weren't that good...

  26 the fanal chapter of that block is blessing and cursing. Listen to this on JW org.: I'll punish you seven times more for your sins!!!@!!

  27 is an obvious appendix.

  Leviticus is mostly made to priest in the Persiand and Hellistic times. It is not God's word But to be honest lets look at the argument from Christian:

  Not really.... Quarentine was NORMAL you idiot!

  Plus these laws were for ritual purity.. these priest (who were all healthy or they could not be priests) cared zero-none... about the people..

  I wouldn't call them fairy stories but yes Mikado is right. (For instance the flood in Babylonia was based on earlierstories likely half true.)
