  Why Jehovah`s Witnesses are wrong emphasising the name Jehovah.

  hi friends, feel free to correct me where i`m wrong with this post.after all it`s just my observation of jw`s and the bible.. in the beginning of gods dealings with adam it was on a personal level , god to man so to speak.. god then dealt with humans via the patriarchs , then with the levi priesthood ,then judges ,( and a woman was a judge ) then kings ,somewhere in between all of this prophets played a major part ,and then came jesus christ the messiah.. and to my knowledge god has not validated a successor to him with any evidence i`ve seen .. jehovah`s witnesses claim to be christians but have with no new testament backing usurped jesus with jehovah.. this period of time ,until god says otherwise ,christians are to give honour and glory to none other than jesus christ .. that is the name that is above any other name until god says otherwise.

  phil.2:9-11. not the name jehovah .the bible never says anything about a kingdom of jehovah ,the coming kingdom is the kingdom of jesus christ with his associate 144,000 earthly subjects.. this is just my understanding of what the bible actually says .. whether i believe it or not is another matter..

  Ok...

  First they can't use Yahweh's Witnesses since another group uses that name I believe. There are MANY denominations of christianity that use Yahweh or Jehovah.

  I have a bible on my shelf that has Yahweh in the NT more the the NWT does!

  As far as to how YHWH is pronounced a poster above pointed out various Hebrew names contain YHWH so a general idea amoung schoolars seems to be Yahweh.

  Of course the Shashu pople who orginated thos god would be rolling on the floor laughing if they knew 3000 years later people were debating or even still worshipping their god.

  From what I have seen on facebook JWs are witnessing by facebook alot and e-mail to inactive ones. Keep in mind however this is how many fuiundemental Christians witness. I see JW changing to Televangelizing and private witnessing soon. Possible an online religion with some assemblies once or twice a year

  i am currently writing a book i started years ago but as in jesus parable 'was not able to finish' lol.

  so llyod evans in one of his interviews on a podcast mentioned he had published through amazon so that evenng i quickly checked out how amazon publishes etc.. for those of you who have written a book i'm curious.

  how would you rate amazon publishing?.

  I am not to worried about advertising since it's mostly ex-jws and certain others who I am gearing towards. I can worry about getting word out later.

  Where have the NWT Bible changed verses to fit their theology ?

  john 1:1 and luke 23:43 ,what others can you come up with ?.

  Most of these 'changed' verses are not changed at all. John 1:1 requires and insertaion of "the". Robert Pryce commented on this very fact awhile ao.

  The 'impale' is a word change to keep up with torture stake. (In reality torture stake is valid since a cross is a torture stake)

  The aforementioned John 8:1-11 does not deserve an answer!

  However the largest places in the 1984 NWT were in the Old Testmanet. The changing of Jeremiah 5:8 to include testicles. The dumbass changing of Job 6:6 from Mallows to 'slimey juice of a marshmellow'.

  The insertation of {other} in brakets in the NT is somewhat questionable as in {in union} but since the theology of each book preaches a different Jesus it is hard to harmonize the NT

  The insertation of Jehovah into the NT is a half-done job since serveal translations have YHWH in the NT many more times then the Watchtower. The fact is that replacing the word Lord with Jehovah ruins the text sicne it is obvious that the author of the Gospel of John and many Pauline letters are not preaching the same God as YHWH but a higher God.(YHWH is a demierage)

  Is There a Higher Conscious

  most of the individuals here from what i have read have gravitated to believing in evolution for various reasons and no longer have a belief in a creator.. the questions begs though, is there a higher conscious in the universe than mankind's.

  i am sure everyone agrees that animals are conscious, but to what extent can they reason?.

  Perhaps you need to read articles from leading astronomers and cosmologests. While all three are technically theories (I would argue dark energy might have proof) they are more reasonable then 'God did it'

  But since you think they are wrong let's see you explain how to unify General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics. We await your answer.

  Someone never read Daniel.

  While you may be quick to point out Daniel phophecies a messah in the time of Judah Maccabee I agree however to the writer that was END TIMES!.

  And future generations of Jews including the Essens agreed by applied Daniel to themselves.

  So let me guess. A bunch of police kill black men on duty... BLM formed. (Which is racist since all lives not not just black lives) then BLM attack police etc and hospital etc...
