so, i left about 5 years ago and at that time, the official ruling on number of members was a little over 6 million.

i google jw out of boredom the other day and find they are now claiming 8 million members.

sooooo.... hold on 2 million increase in 5 years?

So i heard from someone at the assembly that the GB baffoons are saying the 67000 witness die a year. and that 5300 get baptized every weekend or around 275,600 a year. when you consider the amount of followers that get DF'd a year or become inactive.

without even calculating the growth, i just don't see how they could actually say they have over 8 million JWombie followers.

and what about us that are awake and have to go to the shite because a loved one is still binded.

i don't see the seats being filled at the asseblies nor the halls.

my spies tell me that they are getting shown videos very regularly at the 2 day convention(tm).. i figured it may be because the wbt$ wants mass indoctrination using their tried and tested propaganda techniques.. the average elder won't be aware that the wbt$ uses these thought reform techniques so will be incapable of using them himself.

also, the elder might not put the money grabbing, 1984 ministry of truth spin on things and actually say something good instead.

i think my wife got mad because i didn't clap once, nor did i walk around for lunch like a high school kid.

Need to Vent: Well this weekend is a wash, 3 days of my life i will not get back and wife is slipping in to cult mode

My Issue: How To Step Down As A MS Without Getting Noticed

so that other thread was fun but now i need some help with something.

i was born in the truth most of my family is in.

although they aren't outwardly super spiritual i doubt any of them would ever leave.

i stepped down has an MS....I was successful by taking advice from this site.

1. claimed hardship....i.e. to much work, or just to busy

2. changed halls.

3. wala...i was no longer an MS. This was the best move i ever made....best best move is yet to come. That would be to eventually break clean from this cult.
