I think wars are a part of our evolutionary past and will be with us for some time. Hey we were even canibals,,up until 1950 and even after it was outlawed people still practice it.
But I do see us becoming more and more warless,,in part because people speak out.

Technically,, yes,,, since they are heros for the other side. Each side has heros.You can't have a halfway decent war if you don't have any heros. It's simply unheard of.

you know i like to post these dumb'uns but i was thinking this tonight as i sat here thinking what to post.
then i thought to myself, why am i sitting here "wondering" what to post on a forum like this.
i think i get more than the fair share of stick here for posts i have made because of what i do post, and i can live with that.
I think one very important reason for me is,,people here understand me better,,even though we may be very different,,,we have a common problem of dealing with life as an xjw. We have our ups and downs together just like a family.
I guess I post here to communication through printed words because it helps me and maybe somebody else. Not that I have to be perfect to help anybody,,just reading there post I'm helping them.

you've probably communicated with more brits here than you had in all your life before joining this board.. leaving aside the stereo type brit of the movies, stiff upper-lip, unarmed policemen, morris minors and mini's, are we just as you expected us to be?.
I alway enjoyed all the british accents. I know I do a terrible job trying imitate the ones i hear.
Assies are very hard for me to copy. I think I understand their humor,,sometimes.
i enjoyed reading your webpage and all.
i know that many people many find you to be a little drastic and on the fringes, however, i, along with probably many others on this board have just as much anger and bitterness built up.
i must say it does take alot of "guts" to do what you do.

I think the Scott are ok too. Heck I think:any nationality has a lot to offer the world,,,even the creepy head hunters. I think evolution is ultimitely good. And the Brits have contributed a lot to the world both good and bad.

personally, i could care less about god and/or jesus, have no use for either of them, very disappointed in how they run things.
and when i die, i hope i get the chance to tell him/them that.. there was a great song in the late 80's early 90's by depeche mode called blasphemous rumours(spelling ?

Dan, You are speaking as if God really exists,,in comparing him to our parents. There is no proof that god exists and so if people complain about the bible god they are complaining about an imaginary firgure or myth.

the wt concludes that more people are sufuring more since 1914 because that year would spell trouble that would increase.. a brother giving a public talk a couple of weeks ago said mans life span has not increase any noticible amount even with all the advancement we have made in medicine and so the thought trying to be conveyed was don't trust science.. i know many will eagerly point out the facts.. join the watchtower or you will die.. only jehovah's witnesses have the truth all other religions evil and from the devil.. you must beleive the watchtower or you're going to die a painful death forever, isn't that really good news?.
