This is a very interesting situation. I am curious if it is just coincidence that it was the first visit after the change that gave the CO the authority to appoint and remove elders. If I understand correctly before this change it would be much harder to remove elders. My dad always said that if they tried to remove him that he would appeal it. That would be if the other elders were going after him. I'm not sure how that would work but I believe a letter would be sent to bethel. Now it's all different. The CO says, and so it is. Perhaps the CO had an issue with these elders for a while.

80 years old is def a set limit for cobe. I am fairly certain that 70 is a set limit for CO.

"Are Kids Getting More Virtuous?"

a bit slow to load but yes, despite the headlines, kids in the us are getting better.
the watchtower used to love quoting all sorts of negative statistics in years past.

Interesting article. I think your sceptisism that this article will be used in any borg talks is well placed.

Lisa,
thanks for sharing your experience. It's nice to hear that you don't have any regrets. Congrats on not letting your kids get stuck in this cult. It sounds like you have a great family.

At This Point In Time Would You Ever Subject Yourself To A Judicial Committee?
by minimus ini certainly wouldn't.
and if the elders wanted to have a meeting with me, i would respectfully decline.
if the elders wanted to deal with you, would you talk with them?.

I think I will attend the trial. It is bound to happen sooner or later. I already purchased my recorder on Amazon. I'm not sure what direction the JC will go. I will definitly not try to argue doctrine. Perhaps try to reach their inner human. Ask them if they are prepared to tell my family to shun me because I have doubts. I am pretty convincing in person. It will definitly be sincere.

There is no way the Borg owns stock in roku. It is just way easier to make a channel on roku than any other platform. If you look under the religious section on roku, every decent sized religion has a channel.
Regardless roku's are pretty sweet. I am a big fan.

Tons have been purchased. My guess 150,000 by dubs in the US.

Is the Branch deleting AM3 talk from the branch visit?
by toweragent ini recently heard from someone that the elders received a letter stating it was being deleted from the stream site.
is this true?
any one heard of such a thing?.

Sounds like a rumor. I don't think it was ever on the tv.jw.org. If they removed it I doubt they would send a letter. It would just disappear.

The Dude is epic. Tylerr Durden (fight club) is also fantastic. He fought the institution and won!
