I remeber one sounded like the theme from Flipper. "everyone loves the king of the sea, ever so kind and gental is he". Then there was one that sounded like this " miss lucie had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell, miss lucie went to heaven, and the steamboat went to hell" something like that. I agree , most of the new songs suck! venting.

This ticks me off! Last sundays watchtower talked about how organised the heavens are. How it works so acuratley. Some from the audiance said yes everything moves perfectly, nothing bumping into each other. This is so untrue! Lots of things bump into each other. have you looked at the moon lately? Did you notice all the impact craters? Millions of them? These impact craters didn't all happend billions of years ago. Some were much more recent. Now if I raised my hand and said that in my answer people would look at me like I had two heads. Even though I would be speaking the truth. Someone's answer was " evolution is not a fact it's just a theory" They are just playing a silly game of samantics. And saying it this way is disonest. Now if I raised my hand and tried to explain what scientists mean when they say theory, people would think satan was using me. Even though I was speaking the truth. There! I got it off my chest! venting.

You know something is up when a so called scientist becomes a JW. So he belives there are 8 men who get their info from allmighty God. And nutty teachings like, if your kid is going to die and a blood transfusion is the only thing that will save him/her then you have to let them die. And endless other crazy things. Ian Hutchinson MIT scientist is a christian. But he doesn't deny Evolution. When will the org wake up and smell the coffee? Even if there are fringe scientists like this guy in the awake, Evolution is a fact. venting.

watchtowers army assault on our vulnerable elderly in nursing homes
by friendaroonie inits been a long time since i have been this enraged at the evilness and shameless exploitation by the jws.
i just got back from the meeting (dont ask) and sat through the km article laying out plans to mass convert nursing homes all over the world.
i am not going to labor the obvious ethical travesty of this plan but i will say that it constitutes a major public health risk.

I don't think this is as bad as you make it sound. I know the stuff they are bringing to them is mostly bs. But those places have plenty of clergy giving the people their version of bs. They also pass the baskit. Most of these people are left alone waiting to die. Alot of their kids don't visit them. Some perhaps are just waiting to get theor inheritance. Even if you tell them a bunch of lies, if it makes them happy, and stimulates their minds, is their realy any harm.
Alot of these old folks are like children again. My mother is in a nurseing home. If you visit a childrens hospital, it's beyond sad. Some of these kids might not see their first day of school. Their parrents tell them what they choose. It might be something like don't worry honey you will be in heaven, and I will see you there. It tears your heart out. What would we tell these kids? Don't listen to your dad, heaven is bS. When you die you will never see anyone again. Let them belive a lie if it puts a smile on their face.
Life can be so very sad. I wish I could save those kids, and old folks too. I'm sure we all do. Just some thoughts of mine. venting.

I always wondered why they tell us never to look at apostate stuff or sites like this. But they always seem to know what the so called "apostates are saying. Like some of the things in the proclaimers book. So we can't read it, but they can! Interesting. Venting.
