Gradually Huabi and I became convinced that there is a Creator and that he inspired the Bible. In 2005, we became Jehovah’s Witnesses, and now we share in teaching the Bible to others.
Did they read how many logical and moral contradictions contain the Bible?
Can they teach that in the fourth day the sun and the moon were created?
Did they read that it teaches the earth is flat??
Can they share in good conscience the Bible teachings through the glasses of the GB members?

The Second Law of thernodynamics says that the entropy of a closed system increases in time. This means that it becomes more disordered as the time passes. But if the system interacts with other one, the second law must be applied for the system plus the other one. Accordingly, the entropy of that system can decrease. So, I don't believe that the second law can be rightly applied to the processes of natural selection....However I am theist, so I believe that between those benefical mutations there was a proposital force, and not a random step to give speciation. What is that "proposital force"? It would be a matter of theological and philosophical discussion.

venting I can give you my own experience. I am Ph.D. in Satistical Physics (one of the fields of theoretical physics). Currently, I work as a professor and researcher in a University. I was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness one year after I started my undergraduate studies in the university. I have to say that I tried for many years to avoid arguments and readings against the Bible. I wanted to be a witness because I lost my father who was a witness, so I thought that I could see him in the new order by being a faithful witness. Of course, I always felt that I was a bad witness, because I put first my carreer to have a family and support them. So I always did the minimum in the field service, so rarely I was a pioneer.
For many years I did not want to use my critical skills to test the arguments of the Watchower Society as well as the Bible. When I wanted to use my brain ( in the same sense as I use it to solve problem of physics) so as to analyze the Society's claims, I had to admit and conclude for myself that I was living in a lie. Recently I was doing the same thing for the Bible. However, it does not mean that I am an atheist. But currently I don't believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God.
I think that those scientists who are supporting the Watchtower Society are in the same denial status as I was when I did not want to use my critical skills.
i realize some people feel they can't just leave the religion.
they have family, friends, position.. some elders mistakenly believe that they might be able to reform the cult from within.
the truth is, the religion is never really going to change.
That is the first thing I did when I realized that the governing body is a gang of liars. I stoped attending the meetings. I can't waste my time in hearing a stupid theology.
i mean what if a government decided to internally deport its jehovah's witnesses and give them their own independent country.

There is a story in which the Watchtower dream of the new world comes true. In this new world, judicial committees can now order to kill persons who disobey the policies of the 144000 kings. These 144000 kings can also send angels to watch you all the time. I don't remember what a witness did, but he had to face a judicial committee in which the elders decided to sentence him to death. Interestingly, after dying he was suprised because his soul went to heaven, instead of being eternaly annihilated in the symbolic Geena. Then he told to Saint Peter: " I come from the earth, in the new world of Jehovah's Witnesses". Then Saint Peter said " Sorry guy, that was the Hell Fire, we made a mistake, now you are wellcome here in heaven".
we had an assembly part here 6 months ago where a sister was interviewed by the co because she left her job to do more wt work, she talked about some jobs that she had recently been offered with good pay but turned these down.
most listening to this is would be thinking that this sister is being blessed by jehovah for taking this stand, how much faith she has to do this and what can we do personally with our own jobs, made me almost feel guilty for having a job.
anyway come forward 6 months to now, this family has had to move to another region because the husband couldnt find enough work to support his family here.
We have to remember this for them:

I was always against to this kind of cursed interviews. This is a dirty and frequent tactic of The Watchtower leaders intended to rob the time of the witnesses. I know many of them who have left their personal projects for spending more time in field service. Sadly they think they are doing this for God, but they ignore that they are serving a gang of liars.

Another Watchtower absurdity and contradiction. "The entire Septuagint is not inspired, but certain portions do". How convenient !. For instance, if I were Trinitarian I would prefer the Hebrew version of Isaiah 9:6, in which the Messiah is called "Mighty God". On the other hand, if I were Unitarian I would choose the Septuagint which says "the Angel of Great Counsel", instead of "Mighty God". If I were a Jew I would choose the Hebrew version of Isaiah 7:14 which says that Immanuel born from a maiden (almah), but if I were a christian I have to choose the Septuagint, which says "virgin"(greek: parthenos), instead of "maiden". It is a mess.
“That the Christian Greek Scriptures were likewise presented and accepted as inspired is also clear.” (1Co 14:37; Ga 1:8, 1 1, 1 2; 1Th 2:13). (“Insight”, Vol. 1, page 1205)
If I were to accept the letter of Jude as inspired Scripture, I must do the same for the book of 1 Enoch, which is quoted by Jude. Also, in the second century, the Muratorian Canon ignores the letters of Peter and the Apocalypse. Why didn't Paul quote any of the four Gospels? Why does the Gospel of John contradict the synoptics Gospels??

p. 12 now, why would paul a spiritual giant who likely was a member of the first-century governing bodycall himself a miserable man?.
Oh yeah, Paul was in the Writing Department of the first century. But who was Freddy, the oracle of the first century?
it seems that the more i research, the more i find that it's all just a big scam.
is there any evidence that even the bible isn't just another big religion/government scam?
would we listen to putin or obama if they told us they have verified new holy writings?
I'll try to get the book.
