  A question for Athiests.

  i am now an athiest myself, but i think being an athiest its a bit like having a faith.

  some get very hooked on it and "preash" others (like me) simply get with with there lifes.

  i am sure that some athiests like to have discussions about the non existence of " god" in a similar way that "thisists" do about the existence of god.

  My hypothesis is that God exists, but he decided not to interfere in our life. He just wants us to evolve by ourselves. If there is a life after our death, we can know it for sure after dying.

  The god of the Bible is an invention, and is the product of many different contradictory approaches, specially that of the Old Testament.

  Another hypothesis is the following: If there is a judgment after our death, this judgment could not be based on our religious beliefs, because the hypothetical true God does not support any religion. Accordingly, for God, it does not matter if you are musilm, a member of a satanic cult , that is, a member of JW.ORG.

  14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. (James 5)

  The above words contradict what the many elders do in a judicial committee. Many witnesses confess their sins, and get what? more than one year of ostracism.

  are we imperfect from birth?.

  there may be some scriptures that say we are imperfect from birth because of (fictitious) adams sin.

  such verses make no sense like many other prima-facie meaningless verses such as joshua 10:13; isaiah 40:26; john 3:13;11:26 ........ however, there are scriptures that say we are capable of displaying perfection which is already within us.

  I currently don't believe in the original sin. We born as perfect as the first man ( or men?). Indeed, currently, Jews do not believe in the doctrine of original sin. As I see, this idea started with Paul:

  For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Cor 15:22)

  Nevertheless, Augustine, in the fifth century, developed more deeply the doctrine of the original sin. But it is absurd to say that we are imperfect sinners since our birth. Moreover, as you know, Paul contradicts the following statement:

  "Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin." (Deut 24:16)

  So, if we all die in Adam, Jehovah is not only unjust, but he is also responsible of our imperfect birth, and though Jesus supposedly died for our sins, men continue to die, so where is that ransom?

  I think that the content of the Letter should be based on why you were disfellowshipped. For instance, I was disfellowshipped because more than 10 years ago I met a worldly girl and she became my girlfriend and I had to confess that I had sex with her. Of course I was single in that time (now I am married). The elders of the Judicial Committee gave me a chance, they said: "You have 7 days to leave your worldly girlfriend". After 7 days, I met the elders again I and told to them that I will no leave her. So, they disfellowshipped me as a fornicator. After 4 years, I married my current wife (a worldly wife), then I wrote a letter in which I specified my status, so I wrote that I am married and I want to return to the organization because I wanted to be again with the people of God. So, after thirteen months I was reinstated.

  However, I currently do not believe that the Watchtower organization has the "Truth", so I am now free from that stupid religion and from those stupid elders who are slaves of a SLAVE CLASS.

  i am not against them, as i am with jw.org (the watchtower society), but i see that they are trying to imitate the language of the old testament prophets.

  Pinku It is sad to say that, but after a sincere research I concluded that I can't believe anymore that ancient Israel was the chosen people of God. This is the source of a big lie of our history, and this fact affects inevitably the fundation of the christian religions. For instance, let's read the following passage of the Old Testament:

  20 After all this, when Josiah had set the temple in order, Necho king of Egypt went up to fight at Carchemish on the Euphrates, and Josiah marched out to meet him in battle. 21 But Necho sent messengers to him, saying, “What quarrel is there, king of Judah, between you and me? It is not you I am attacking at this time, but the house with which I am at war. God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you.”

  22 Josiah, however, would not turn away from him, but disguised himself to engage him in battle. He would not listen to what Necho had said at God’s command but went to fight him on the plain of Megiddo.

  23 Archers shot King Josiah, and he told his officers, “Take me away; I am badly wounded.” 24 So they took him out of his chariot, put him in his other chariot and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him.

  (2 Chronicles 35)

  This is a very interesting passage, because as we see, Josiah was one of the best kings of Jehovah's organization on earth, who wanted to obey Yahweh's Law. However, Jehovah did not tell to Josiah (his appointed one) that He was also supporting Necho, the king of Egypt. Furthermore, Jehovah did no use any prophet to advise Josiah that Necho was chosen by Him to go against Babylon. Thus, Josiah died after trying to stop Necho's military plans, ignoring that these were also Jehovah's plans. Accordingly, we have here a good example in which Jehovah did not care about Josiah, even when he was more loyal than many other past kings of Israel. What kind of god was this?.....So, what I see is that the scribe who wrote this passage, tried to justify the lack of divine support to Josiah, because God did not avoid his death. But this is a good example which shows that if there is a God, he was neither in favor to Israel nor Egypt. Currently, we see the same picture. Many people die without a logical explanation, and God does not avoid it.

  So what will the Governing Body choose to do this year? Will they take the wise course and properly honor Jesus as the head of the congregation and the one to whom every knee should bend, or will they go forward with extolling the progress of their building projects?

  My crystal ball tells me that the members of the Governing Body will choose the best places in warwick and will continue to eat steak with blood and good wine by the money of those poor witnesses who obey them.

  Early christians refused to worship the Emperor as a god. I admire them for that. However, some centuries later, when a group of christians took the lead by converted Emperors, this created the Roman Catholic Church, that burned and killed those who refused to obey it. In the XX century, some Jehovah's Witnesses were tortured and even killed by Hitler, and other dictators like those in Argentina at the end of the 70s. However, although Jehovah's Witnesses have no political power and weapons, they torture and destroy psychologically some of the lives of those who are under their religious power. I do not doubt that if the governing body had political and military power as they expect during the reign of 1000 years, would condemn and kill many of us for not kissing their ass.

I am not against them, as I am with JW.ORG (The Watchtower Society), but I see that they are trying to imitate the language of the Old Testament Prophets. For instance, this is what they have recently written:

  We, at AnointedJW, began this year with a proclamation that this is the Father’s Acceptable Year and the Watchtower Society’s Time of Inspection. The Governing Body began this year with their celebration of 100 years of stalled prophecy. Thus, this year can culminate as the Governing Body’s glorious or inglorious hour. Their shining victory or their darkest defeat!

  If there is a God, he is not concerned about any religious group. These guys of the AnointedJW website are regarding the Organization as the ancient Israel, and they think they are being led by a divine force who is doing an "Inspection" through a "prophet" for this work. This is a similar dangerous claim done by Russell against Christendom, then this produced another enslaving religion with Rutherford and his friends as their leaders. The fact is that christianity began with a man who spoke interesting words, but misled many people by propagating a false prophecy: "This generation will not pass". That generation passed and saw no end of the world. So, christianity born with a false prophecy and this is why it causes confusion.
