This generation was the generation he was in. He told the disciples it would happen in his and thier lifetime. He told those standingin front of hime that some of them would still be alive when he returned in his kingdom and they (the apostles) would not finish going through all the tribes of Israel before he came back .So then he was either lieing, misleading them or it happened as he said. Child abuse is rampant in all forms of society.Its what we do about it is the issue. People have a duty of care to those who are and who have been abused. The Uk is coming ot terms with child abuse and all is being revealed in society everything hidden becomes known it turns out that child abuse goes right to the top of society among the elite . Yes unfortunatley many think you cna earn your way to being declared righteous. Attending meetings etc is not works. It is the work going onin the heart believers will be declared righteous. The churches keep believers from entering into the fullness of Christ and enjoying the fruit of the spirt by enslaving its followers to man.
