He paid the price for our sins on the cross/stake/tree what ever you want to call it, he took it all for mankind so ALL could be reconciled back to God .Past present and future.

Jesus as a Ransom for Humans or not
by fulltimestudent ini have not got an answer (theoretical or not) to the above question.. but the main text book (introducing the new testament- its literature and theology - achtemeier, green and thompson) for my study unit (early christian literature and thought) in the assigned reading for today's lecture on the gospel of john, has a section on the ransom.
it says (p. 237): one of the few passages that explicitly speaks of jesus dying for others is mark 10:45:.
"for even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.. .

The Grea tribulation was for the 1st century beleivers only and never to be repeated again. Messiah came back as he promised for those 1st century faithful ones and they rule with him in the KIngdom now FULLFILLED 2000 years ago. There is no dual fullfillment or types or shadows they all ended with CHrist. The dual fulfillment is another deception by churches ot keep you enslaved and to stop you entering into the Kingdom. Is the organisation still obsessed with attacking the R.C.church ? , in their publications ?
by smiddy infor the 33 years i was "in" their seemed to be a constant barrage against catholicism from either the watchtower or awake mags., and hardly a peep out of them towards other individual faiths .. i havent read any of their publications for well over 20 years and was just wondering if anything has changed in this regard .. smiddy.

but i noted that in the gospels appears the word "elect" (greek eklektos).
it seems that early christians thought that they were chosen by god.

The Prophecies were for the 1st century. The Gospel was originally for Natural Israel byt they rejected Messiah even though they knew from the scriptures he was coming. But this opened the way for us gentiles to become heirs of the promise. The electwerethe 1st centruy faithful ones who Messiah promised he would return for them and he did.It was a spiritual event.Just as all things are.Those 1st centruy one srule with him in heaven as kings and priests. The Holy SPirit never elft earth after pentecost itremains throughout the generations leading people to Christ.He dwells within ALL people though most do not recongise it yet. But Christ in you and everyone is is the mystery of the ages, he dwells in everyone. We all have the choice still when he reveals himself to each perosn whether to coem after him or not. You cannot find him in a church, God does not dwell in man made buildings or thingsmade of bricks and mortar, he dwells within you all.
