None of the Branch Family was preaching, no Special Pioneers or Western Cult leaders stepped in to Communist China's Field Service, they crave control like Psychopaths do without regard for their followers lives!
Metatron, if the Preaching is producing little tangible proceeds, why don't they place their focus on something beyond the door-to-door work? If Stats are true and 70-80% of Witnesses are, were found in the Door-to-door Work, why not put all their energies there? It's because it keeps them "busy" and spinning their wheels, do you remember the good feelings when you found people to talk to? Those feelings we felt when we preached were trippy because now I am getting them when I help with our Community. I never wanted that strange feeling because I feel it's our job to help anyon who needs help, it's hard because I have lots of JW Biasm I am trying to eradicate out of my head and it's so hard. How do we remain stable in life without fixating on situations and get away from all the negative thinking decades of constant bombardment inflicted on us?

Good points Metatron, is it possible the Governing Body are either agnostics or atheists and pretend to believe they got the truth? It’s becoming a common theme among the threads lately and I wonder if it’s possible. Like any human being, we seek to provide for our family and at their age, there’s not a whole lot of opportunities existing for old men who teaching false doctrine, so they remain for financial reasons. No doubt they all have read “Crisis of Conscience” and “In Search of Christian Freedom”, so are they going to end up broke like Ray Franz Jr because they love truth or keep their positions as JW deities? We both know the answer, remain they must or money and prestige they lose.
I am hearing more complaints by Fundamental Christians leaders getting bombarded with financial questions, kids walking up after the Apologist gives his reasons “Why we believe in God”, some young college kid from Azusa Pacific University bluntly asks the Speaker “how do you make and how do I maximize my income, do I go for a mega-church or smaller focused on people in the Hamptons? I agree, TED talks are informative and facial pattern recognition videos are useful, we need a super professional Poker player to read their tells. @losingit, you make a strong point, I keep wondering how far each of us would leave the human race and revert back to a animalistic, pure survival driven being to keep their lives going. The Past is full of examples of people put in bad situations who had to betray anyone their leaders told them to or die. At what cost will a person go to keep his heart pumping blood and live another day? In Russia during the 1700s there were private guards to a crazy Czar that would kill their own family if the leaders so desired. They would do anything to prove loyalty and remain alive, how far will animals go to stay alive? In Nature there are animals who lead the predators away from the nest, pack or pod to save their young, instinct to sacrifice yourself so another can live, this question keep's bugging me!

I am not saying people here would do anything to remain alive, we have evidence there are people who believe and don't believe refusing to "convert" or obey wicked leaders because they did not wish to cling to life if they had to become animals. Jesus said the following words to people who would have to make the choice of doing their best to save their life no matter what. We have seen people do really bad things to save their own skin, how long does life remain precious once you are ordered to go against every personal value you once held to remain alive?
How many people have killed because they were told, "Kill or Be Killed!"? Think about this, how far would you allow them to drag your personal being to remain alive? Would you kill your own race to stay alive, why do individuals like atheists in the Military go in and be some of the greatest fighters knowing if they die, that's it! How far would you go to remain alive? I think the JWs would go to the Cross and die before killing each other, Christians and Buddist monks have died because of faith, there most be something that transcends it all. If there is not, too many good people "believers and non-belivers" have died for nothing and who willl remember their heroic actions?

BandontheRun, that's the big problem, so far John is not mentioning the Watchtower or Jehovah's Witnesses, just "Church". The Show is a smashing sucess, maybe a "Twitter Storm" is possible? How many prayers did/have you heard for Non JWs while attending the Kingdom Hall? The Prayer for the City Council man or woman to grant their permit to build a Kingdom Hall or Assembly Hall? The Bible teaches to pray for everyone yet I don't recall any prayers from any JWs (publisher to Governing Body) asking for God's help to aid people in distress or harm's way, do you?

I think people have asked that question on JWN since 2001 and I know the answer. It's the same reason why "South Park" did not air their Mohammed Episode while attacking JWs, Mormons, Scientologist, Canadians and everyone else, their cowards!
Bible Students agreed not to preach to Muslims during Rutherford's reign as Watchtower President, Bible Students were told "Avoid Muslims", "Do Not Call On Muslims" and put all focus on Coptic Christians, Arabian Christians and other's the Islamic or French Rulers permitted. So much for fearlessness, there are Born-Again Christians working in this Countries the Watchtower is not, who has greater faith?
