i get tired of using the argument of "the mystery of evil" to attack god but where are we when we see heroic acts of godly courage from great humans like dr. kent bradly and dr. nancy writebols wonderful works of love?

did you listen to dr. kent bradley's concern and loving compassion for west africa?

he's not angry superstitious mobs destroyed several make-shift medical facilities to treat victims of ebola, no, dr. bradly implored the world to "help save west africa".

JW facts, I think you should write Dr. Kent Bradly and lambaste him for bringing up God with his healing, on this topic and ect. What say you? Can you imagine the nerve of that doctor bringing up God in a time like this, is that because he's not educated or blind? I am totally with you, let's hammer him ok! How dare he assume God healed him, while those Dr. Bradley treated died from Ebola because they did not have access to God's intervention and MAPP's Zmap drug.

It's his fault I started this thread because he kept speaking about miracles, God and God. How can we change his mind and show him he is totally wrong about God, perhaps teach him from our vast wisdom and education "God does not exist!".

Perry, is the Watchtower a Christian religion in your view or a cult following the rules of men? If a cult, does that mean they are doomed because they had the Bible to read but failed to show the qualities Jesus Christ said his followers would display?

Besides a few wonderful humanitarian JWs, the vast majority are judgemental, (like I am doing now), don't care about the poor or widows, kids without parents, they siphon off the social service programs, many evade taxes, cheat on building projects. Do you think JWs are a Cult created by Satan when Russell used Magic and Numerology back in the 1800s to prove his false dates?

OH MY GOSH! I thought I was the only one who noticed how people change when the CO come's to check who's been naughty and whose been nice! We have elders who do not speak with the sheep, some of the elders on the body soon found their group size double because the Sheep know their Elder does not care if they ever walked in the door.

We have Elders chronically complain that "This Kingdom Hall is not hospitable", does not bother them that they have never invited anyone to their house or do anything to help the weak members of the Kingdom Hall. It's weird having spiritually mute Elders complain nobody cares about them when these elders have never displayed any acts of loving kindness, what do you think?

Terry they don't talk with people anymore, the kids who are in the honey-carts at the local Us don't speak.

some day far in the future, will we be looked upon as suffragettes who abolished cults with tenacity, courage and outspokenness?.

will future generations shudder at the backwardness of cultures that permitted cults to flourish, and not comprehend how this could have happened?.

I think JWN will be remembered as the cannon that kept firing balls of truth, bombarding the Watchtower with truth until all it's holes were obvious to any thinking person.

Is that little truck real? How can the GB control the rest of their membership if everyone believes "we are all equals in the eyes of Jesus Christ".

Crofty, I was making a silly argument that a act of good from two people prove's God existence, kinda of the same way God not stopping ISIS from killing the journalist proves he does not exist. It was poor parody on my part, I did not mean to insult anyone or use Hitler to describe either group.

I don't understand why, the journalist did not deserve his unjust death, he was in the Middle East and knew the risks associated being there. The same with Anderson Cooper and how he made a name for himself in Bosnia during the Balkan Wars in the 1990s. AC knew he could be killed but I think he was fearless because the death of his brother left a giant void inside. Read the book by Anderson Cooper, he speaks of "Snipers" shooting, hearing bullets fly over in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. AC is now a giant Star because of his fearlessness or recklessness still he had a choice the folks in the former Yugo had no place to run. AC went their on his own expense with his own camera, he seized fame by standing in the midst of a full scale war, that's how reckless he was! Nobody paid his way, he paved his own fame and now look, that's what is their goal and it's sad this journalist died but it's a risk AC describes in his book.

Saying God does not exist because a professional reporter was executed, what about the families in Iran who are on Death Row for preaching Christianity? What about the Kurds, the Iraqis, Christians now being exterminated and all their churches in Syria and Iraq are destroyed. It's a terrible thing this man got his head cut off with a pearing knife like a chicken, it was pure wickedness. Bad actions by bad people don't prove God exist or does not exist.

watchtower - don't sin, don't question, don't think, don't reason, don't leave, or god will kill you in hell the big a.. bible - all dysfunction aka the "bad news" has been legally defeated by the "good news".. (i believe we are therefore free to begin naturally and progressively transitioning from a primitive type-0 civilisation if and when we choose to and when consensus reaches critical mass.

we will become a more advanced type-1 civilisation in the next 100 years according to michio kaku in "physics of the future".).
