We know from First Century history, men like Josepheous did not speak of a "Peace and Security" proclamation because the Empire and Holy Land were in constant chaos as the Roman Economy was slowly declining. No "Peace and Security before the Jewish Seige or Diaspora when wave after wave of Jews got slammed in 66-70 AD and finally stripped of their country in 140 AD. How come nobody seems to speak of some Peace and Security?

Right before one of my kids headed out, they called the WTs new style "Human Spamming" and asked "Will they start using Nigerian Prince Scams to collect more money?". Met, the preaching work has been dead with our generation, nobody was as Gung Ho as the following generations.
Generation preaching 1914 was the end, World War 1 breaks out, high end people like the Eisenhowers and rich members of Society join until the false prophecies fail.
1919-1926 is the end of that generation, tired of false prophets the Watchtower loses over 80% of their membership!
Generation 2 and 3, they are the ones who preached 1975 was going to be the End or "Time is ticking away for people, the Generation is up in 1984 and 1994, those people are leaving or walking ghouls!"

Jesus 1000 years and Satan's 1000 years in the abyss
by berrygerry inthe thread about satan in the abyss for 1000 years prompts a question.. jesus will rule for 1000 years.. jesus began ruling in 1914, which means his 1000 year reign will end in 2914.. satan will be abyssed for 1000 years.. if the end comes in 2020, satan will be abyssed in 2020, and then released in 3020.. what happens between 2914 and 3020?.

Smiddy, JWs hired a crew with the Mormon (Group Cult Discount) to down play all their errors and avoid a real discussion of failed prophecy. Mormons are paying top dollar for their image over-haul, you think the Watchtower would pay anything or stick to destroying all Watchtower CD-ROM data every Ten Years and tell their followers "You are Apostates or Weak if you read our writings over Ten Years Old because their god's chariot's wheels are broken. The Mormons are losing followers because of Joseph Smith and Brigham Youngs Adventures.
What about Charley's Occult practices and Judge Rutherford leaving his wife and son for Bonnie and Betty? It's weird Bethelites have mentioned Freddy Franz having a femine side, I wonder if he was a closet homosexual or did he have a relationship with Canada's Branch leader? Nothing a PR crew can't clean up for a nice fee

by cofty ini just wanted to put links to my watchtower threads all in the same place for my own benefit and future reference.. i wrote these 4 articles almost 20 years ago just after i left the watchtower and before i had encountered any ex-jw books or websites.
they were all based on original research of old wt publications and the nwt bible.. my explanation of why they got it wrong about blood using only the nwt.... i still think this line of reasoning is devastating to the blood doctrine.
i have yet to hear a rational response.. the gospel contrasted with the watchtower doctrine of the ransom.... i wrote this when i was an uber-evangelical.

Crofty, your story is like Carl O's attempt to help the Organization see they are teaching false doctrine and are "bad teachers". Your better off without family who treat you badly like your ex-FIL(He's your Ex because you disowned him or vice versa IMHO) who could not wait to "Rat you out". Were you at a age that was easy to transistion (30s or 40s)? How dialed in to the religion are you? I can say there is a twisted unspoken watch happening now, if someone starts to speak things, the Watchtower has fine-tuned their nuts ears to catch traces of thinking.
Twisted Religion, where else can a person get a microphone Whoopers like "I know a brother and sister who work as a semi-conductor engineers and missed their flight on Malaysian Airlines because their Bible Student called up and said "I need help, I am having doubts about our religion, so they cancelled their flight to minister to a weak sheep receving Jehovah's Blessing of life!" without being challenged while attacking people get kicked out for providing facts? You thought you were helping, they labeled you as a "Clear and Present Danger"! The desperation of the Watchtower's Leadership is obvious, it's builidng up to a Jim Jones "End game". You know who has it really bad, it's the JWs who know it's a lie but badly wish to believe that the Watchtower is the least evil among th World Religions which is false!
Has your wife faired well, it's hard to break ties with a decent family member (Unless your a victim of abuse, physical or sexual) because we want to remember a Past when people were not judgemental-hate filled assholes, assholes who can't want until Jehovah kills you off! That's the new Watchtower and their true message!
