Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

? Question for EX-JW grandfathers. What life advice would you give to your grandchildren and your younger self. ?
by Balaamsass2 ini read an interesting interview with billionaire warren buffet's sidekick, billionaire charlie munger.
good read, this grandpa agrees 1000% with his advice.
i wish i had learned earlier to realize almost everyone lies...(sometimes to themselves) but especially, all politicians and religious leaders.. what advice would you as a grandparent add?".

I read an interesting interview with Billionaire Warren Buffet's sidekick, Billionaire Charlie Munger. Good read, This Grandpa agrees 1000% with his advice. I wish I had learned earlier to realize almost everyone lies...(sometimes to themselves) but especially, all politicians and religious leaders.
What advice would you as a grandparent add?"
At 99, billionaire Charlie Munger shared how to avoid major mistakes in life: Dodge ‘toxic people and toxic activities’
https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/05/billionaire-charlie-munger-on-avoiding-mistakes-avoid-toxic-people.html
"Avoiding mistakes in business and life comes down a few simple things, according to billionaire investor Charlie Munger, who died last week at age 99: good financial habits, integrity and “avoiding toxic people and toxic activities.”
Munger shared the advice during a Q&A session at Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholders meeting in May.
An investing icon in his own right, Munger was the long-time business partner of Warren Buffett, the enormously successful investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. For decades, shareholders have flocked to the company’s annual meeting just to hear Buffett and Munger’s advice.
People are “almost certain to succeed” if they spend less than they earn, invest shrewdly, learn continually and remain disciplined, Munger continued. Without those traits, you’ll need a lot of luck to be successful, he said.
As for avoiding toxic people, look out for those “who are trying to fool you or lie to you or aren’t reliable in meeting their commitments,” Munger said. “A great lesson of life is get them the hell out of your life — and do it fast.”
Munger’s advice echoes comments he made in 2019 to CNBC’s Becky Quick about living a “long and happy life.”
The secret to a happy life is being cheerful despite your troubles, and avoiding traits commonly associated with toxic people, like envy or resentment, Munger said. As a rule, you should “deal with reliable people, and you do what you’re supposed to do.”
“All these simple rules work so well to make your life better. And they’re so trite,” Munger said in 2019.
At the shareholders meeting in May, Buffett shared his own thoughts on the topic. To him, most major mistakes in life can be avoided by simply being a good person who acts with integrity.
In making his point, Buffett recalled advice he received from his longtime friend and business partner Tom Murphy: “You can always tell someone to go to hell tomorrow.”
“Think about what great advice it is when you sit down at a computer and screw your life up forever by telling someone to go to hell, or something else, in 30 seconds and you can’t erase it,” Buffett said.
In other words, think twice about giving someone a piece of your mind. As tempting as it may be in the moment, it’s likely not worth the long-term risk to your reputation. After all, how you treat others is a reflection of your own values.
“Write your obituary and figure out how to live up to it,” he said, adding that he’s never known a kind person who “died without friends.”

Perhaps he now has a beard and no one has "seen" him? :)
Perhaps he is in rehab? :)
At the VA psych ward...after he told the VA shrink he was God's direct channel? :)
Perhaps the Mrs asked for a separation after he scolded her for wearing Spanx and burning his hot dogs. :)
Or perhaps he is just freeloading a tropical holiday from some affluent JW friend in a warm climate for the winter...Bahamas, Virgin Islands..? ??? :)

When we moved, all the Watchtower literature we accumulated for 3 generations bottomed out my 1/2 ton pickup.
One of the books was "What has Religion done for mankind?"
Food for thought.

What about letting sisters wear pants?

The 59-year-old Vice President of the United States is always in pantssuits.
Nicky Haley is running for President, is from the Bible belt, and wears pants half the time.
Most Corporate women wear slacks frequently.
There is no logic in Watchtower banning pants for women.

Steve Lett doesn’t look well
by Teddnzo inas soon as you see steve letts talk at the agm you think to yourself “oh my, what’s happened to him?.
his hand has plasters and his skin doesn’t look healthy, like he has inflammation or something serious going on.. he had put on weight and is all bloated and puffy .
his skin really doesn’t look good, the kind of inflammation many people notice after the experimental covid vaccines.. there have been very high numbers of people reported inflammation after the experimental covid vaccines.

Lett is getting OLDER. It is COLD and damp in upstate New York. Arthritis is common as a person gets older and even more common if you have a bad diet. Bethel food is made in huge vats so everyone can be served at the same time. Fresh fruit and vegetables were uncommon at Bethel, especially in the winter. Lots of potatoes, white flour, salt, and sugar in everyday food. Expensive booze is a frequent gift from rich JWs.
Affluent, social climbing JWs clamor to treat Governing Body members to nice restaurants or entertain them at their nice homes and serve them expensive and tasty meals every weekend. That kind of diet is an inflammation health bomb when you are older.
What I saw while in Brooklyn Bethel with GB 2.0 was that while UNEDUCATED and of average intelligence, the JW Governing Body is full of Corporate climber types, and TRUE BELIVERS who feel their every action is motivated by god. Both types of people speak and act with conviction and enjoy POWER. You see the same stuff in the Islamic world. I think poorly educated groups frequently promote confident but mentally ill leaders. My 2 cents.
"Thomas Szasz critiques the concept of religious auditory hallucination: those who hear the voice of God talking to them are experiencing schizophrenia, while those who talk to God but hear no response are simply praying".[47]
