Kingdom Hall consolidations in the UK
by raymond frantz in/from reliable sources (brothers in position within the congragation) i've been informed that in two different location within the uk congragations are to be consolidated .these men are loyal to the society and have no contact with ex-jw community .many brothers and sisters within these 4 congragations are devasted and undertantably very upset .one of these congragation has in excess of 150k in the bank currently "held" by the society as a loan .do you have any more information on this ?
is this just a one off or a new trend ?.

Kensho, Just type in the search box top left. Copy and paste the original source documents into a word Document. Watchtower Documents has a LOT of original Watchtower Documents. Old JW books bound volumes can be bought from Ebay/Amazon.
My question is why waste the time? Logic does not work on Cult members. If someone wants to believe in Santa Claus, why waste time convincing them otherwise ?

Meeting for not paying assembly fees???!!!!
by Kool Jo inhey folks......has anyone else heard of, or experienced this before?.
i visited by parents over the weekend and accompanied them to their assembly....same rubbish spoken about since ive been born....obey the gb, donate your last penny, no education and be a pushover.. anyways, our assembly hall has lush vegetation and scenery, so i was more focused on that....i started dozing off after lunch, so got up and went walking, saw some older folks from the congregation i grew up with.. upon the conclusion of the assembly, wed normally leave out right after the prayer ends so as to avoid the traffic.
however, for this assembly he told me that hes gonna be a few minutes with the elders and branch representatives...so a few minutes turned into an hour..

Assembly Hall accounts were such a fraud. All kinds of "Donations" and District B.S. are buried in them. If WTBTS was a real corporation someone would go to jail for fraud.
The C.o.s were contantly forcing donation "pledges" to WTBTS and them parading them as fixed "Costs" to create the illusion of "Losses". When you have 30 year old buildings with paid off mortgages and donated labor what annual costs do you have? Maintenance, Uttilities, ONE worker/caretaker divided by 50 weekend groups. Everything else is a form of skimming and graft that should be EXAMINED, DISCLOSED and VOTED on by ALL members.

Just talked to Witnesses at my door for Hour about Watchtower Child Abuse
by flipper init happened again like in july when i talked to an elder and his wife about child abuse, but this time i got a hold of rank and file members who fortunately i was able to play like a fiddle as they had no idea what they were up against here.
so brother middle age ex-hippie convert ( as he told me later ) and sister middle age hair in a bun offered me the awake on death or our view of death.
i graciously accepted gaining their trust saying yes, i had close loved ones who had died over the years but didn't know if i believed in a resurrection or hereafter.

The Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in RutherglenResidents have blasted offensive leaflets circulating in Rutherglen, targeting a religious group.
Hundreds of leaflets have been issued in the Rutherglen Main Street area, claiming to reveal the “frightening truth about Jehovah’s Witnesses”.
They make several false and offensive claims against the religion.
They include stating that: “confessed paedophiles may be put in positions of authority over others” and that Jehovah’s Witnesses: “have blamed women for raising rapists”.
James Wood, an elder with the Kingdom Hall in Rutherglen, said he had seen the leaflets and that they were “clearly the work of some aggrieved person” and said: “There’s a lot of lies in there.
“We usually just ignore this type of thing.”
One man, who lives on Rutherglen Main Street, said: “I was leaving for work in the morning and a pile of them had been put through my close door.
“ I’m not a Jehovah’s Witnesses but I have a family member who is and the content is extremely offensive.”
Inspector Jim Gillespie at Rutherglen Police Office said the police had not received any complaints regarding the leaflets but said they would look in to any case where a member of the community felt they were being targeted for their religious beliefs: “Our own local community and indeed our entire country celebrates its diverse, multi-cultural society.
“Should anyone feel they are being inappropriately targeted for malicious purposes for being part of an individual social group such as one based on their religious belief, disability, sexuality or gender, they should contact Police Scotland which takes any allegations of hate crime very seriously.”
