jw.org cart days numbered?
by jookbeard inreading a report of an elder in a friends cong has been hiding and spying on the pioneers who seem to have a practise of dumping the cart and finding a local coffee shop, i've noticed that they do this in my local high street as well but this week they seemed to be all huddled around the cart, they've clearly been warned, a vast percentage of the time i see they seem to be more interested in fiddling with their mobile phones and gossiping, is just seems these carts are a means for the pioneers to turn in "easy time" i wonder what sort of figures show how much literature is being taken by the public?
i bet its very minimal.
naturally the gb would say they are a phenomenal success , we clearly know they are not.

"I should have known" moments
by dubstepped ini got ready for the meeting.
my wife did too.
we drove out to the kingdom hall and the closer we got the higher my anxiety would spike.

After I resigned as a MS and was still attending the meetings.
After a few times of finding myself crying in my seat during the final song or prayer, I quit for good.
FREEDOM!!

Memorial attendance
by punkofnice inmy spies seem a bit confused.
here, in this neck of the woods 3 congregations had 3 separate sittings.
the attendance seemed to be swelling.

Will they eventually quit printing the total that attend the memorial?
'Cuz it's dropping, too!

Wow. I just realized that there isn't a single comment in the bible anywhere showing a Christian how to strengthen a fellow that has lost his faith in the Governing Body...
I wonder why?

we were both regular pioneers and i was a ministerial servant.

I've enjoyed all of the YouTube vids the two of you have produced.
I hope to do some videos of my own one day.
Welcome to the forum.

My mother has nervous breakdown because we missed the memorial.
by cookiemaster inmy parents insisted that i'd take them to the memorial.
my cousin said he'd come too and another brother who doesn't have a car begged to join.
i was dreading having to go through exactly the same thing again.

Find out how many braved the weather and attended.
That would be interesting.Reason would have us hope very few could or would be willing to drive in a life threatening situation for 'loyalty'?

A Troubling Culture: JW Group Think vs. Individual Critical Thinking
by MicaSmith ini had no idea that the resistance, governance, and duplicity i am experiencing as a jehovah witness is actually part of a bigger behavioral issue that permeates the entire jehovah witness culture.. i was troubled by the fact that many persons who have been crushed by the unfair practices of jw leadership described themselves as former members of the jw cult, and, or, apostates.
the latter bothered me to a greater degree because i felt the word apostate has been overused by jw's leadership and members.
anyone who disagrees with anything the governing body does or says is assigned the label an apostate.

Isn't it funny that once awake, the 'Awake!' magazine title becomes an ironic joke.
Truth in plain site.

Wearing a Guy Fawkes mask outside a JW Convention.
by SonoftheTrinity ini don't want my wife recognizing me, but i feel like making an anti-jw scene.

A big sign no one can miss that says:
Shun exJWs in imitation of Jesus
Or
Wachtower's Pedophile problems are not "apostate lies"
"research 1975, JWs"
Something easy to read from a distance that once seen is already read.

They want to get rid of "anointed ones" - It's getting clear
by thedepressedsoul ini've never met a group that turns on it's members like the jw's.
sister faithful that thinks she's anointed is now bat shit crazy with mental illness.
we all have known it's true, but now you have the wt, who put it in everyone's head that you can be anointed.

The only relevance the 'number of partakers' had is with the failed prophecy of "Millions now living Will Never Die". ( the generation of anointed that saw the sign in 1914 )
When the numbers were steadily decreasing it meant we were close to 'The End'©. yay!
That generation is meaningless now with the wonderful nu-lite of 'Overlapping Generations' and so are the 'anointed', meaningless.
This is part of the last phase of failed prophesy cover-up operations.
Ridiculous and sad.
Many saw it coming. -

The Modern Exodus: Perception or Reality?
by Hadriel ini'm completely new at this however just in my joining this forum and of course interacting with others i can't help but notice what appears to be a significant exodus from the organization.. for those of you that have long been in this game have you seen this before?
i'm really curious and we should refrain from the sensational, but is what we're seeing different than in years past?.
it sure seems like so so many are waking and leaving.

Imagine if the access to the information we individually discovered that allowed us to make the tough decision to leave was available 20 years ago?
Everyone uses or will use the internet for everything in the next few years.
Watchtower can no longer hide it's cult tactics from the masses.
Plain and simple.
