  There are many older ones in my area where I used to attend the meetings.

  I have been watching as they slowly die off before me. Seems like about 3-4 a year die.
  Just in the last few years there have been 4 elders and one MS that have died in my old hall alone.

  This does not seem to alarm the JWs that are still in.

  I would say there are at least 10 more in my old hall alone, that if they they died today, it would surprise no one. I noticed this and here I am... Approaching 50 with an older wife and that's it.

  I have many very diverse and fulfilling interests that keep me going.

  JWs embrace the LIE that death is not normal and they can cheat it.
  The longer you stay indoctrinated, the more time you are wasting.
  Time that you can never get back. Don't live on death row, get out and live!!

  Demon Stories

  so we all know that "crazy" brother or sister.

  every kingdom hall has one.

  they give the best comments (from a hilarious perspective), have experiences with the "demons", but most importantly, they are on about 10 deifferent kinds of medications.

  The bigger question is why aren't Demunz taunting ALL JWs?

  That's their one job, right? Get us out of "the truth" by any means possible.

  Everyday should include dealing with the demons.

  More fear driven lies we used to believe.

  My BIL told me how he used to dupe his nephew.
  Throwing sticks and rocks to make sounds in the bush. he even convinced him to put charcoal on his face for camouflage.

  Reminds me of the JW Broadcasting distraction and getting pioneers to stand near a literature cart...
  ( both are an embarrassment )

  have you seen an excitement go through the dubs about the tim burton film big eyes?

  they reckon it will give a "fine witness".. i've seen it and found it really irritating, basically margaret keane is such a timid mouse that she allows her husband to take all the credit for her work.

  Also was assigned to the bookstudy in her her home.
  The round art collage coffee table. I've set my NWT on it!!

  would ---------day be good, at say -----------?".

  it'll probably be a pretty dull visit with the entire conversation being only one way.

  ...Back to the real world.

  Prior to the request to meet with the CO ( which was unknowingly waved off by my still-in wife ) a father/son pair of elders paid me, what would be my final elder's visit. The son was the COBE and only in his late 30's after local pioneering and a 10 year Bethel stint that had him in daily contact with GB members.

  He asked me just minutes into the visit if I still believed the GB was the FDS. I responded by telling him that, " I will not be interrogated in my own home ". That created awkward silence.

  When they tried to read from the Bible to me, I told them... " I'm not interested ". ( classic conversation stopper/table turner! ) They immediately left. I have been left alone for the last 1.5-2 years as a result, while my wife happily attends all the meetings, seeing them weekly. The Love®

  It's hearing experiences like these that stir me to fantasy land:

  I imagine being invited to a meeting with the CO and an elder. I appear cheerful and suggest that the entire body of elders and the CO should come to my place for the encouraging visit. Which I proceed to secretly record after reminding all of the "brothers" that the use of recording devices is not allowed!!
