The more I think back, the more I remember JWs engaging in dishonest business practices left and right.
Their hypocrisy is one of the biggest issues that contributed to my awakening.
My 25 years in Napa with JWs was 25 years of observing MANY elders break the law and pretend nobody saw.

I always wondered what happened.
so the wife and i were uninvited to another jw get together which we didn't want to go to anyways.
finally we find out that something on my facebook account is getting some people's in my old halls undies in a bunch.
so i was thinking of meeting with them to at least clear my wife's name and give them some much needed hell.

So basically, we dedicated ourselves to the organisation that makes things up as needed for financial self preservation...
If it was truly 'spirit-directed', there would be no mistakes or corrections needed. 'New Light' proves there was no direction. Their most recent admission proves they cannot be trusted.
one thing i've never understood is judicial committees.
yes, i understand it's held to see if elders should go through with the disfellowshipping process.
but why give them all the power?
Ignore them or DA, take your pick.

Getting physically ill over the injustices in the WT are hard to bear.
My wife loves the ORG.
had a thought about the memorial observance that is held at the kingdumb hall every year.
there are a few youtube videos of people partaking of the bread and the wine and then making some grand speech before being escorted off the premises.
instead of that, has anyone tried getting a group of buddies together and when receiving the bread or the wine, just eat or drink it all?
I can think of all kinds of amazing things to do to unsuspecting JWs.
I always come back to, 'why'?
It's a wasting of time, the way I see it.

I'd seen and heard many apostates before I'd awoken to TTATT.

when i was a jobo, i would say that anything in jobo history, eg.
miracle wheat, beth sarim et al (old light), wasn't worth considering as evidence that the wbt$ was a weirdo cult.. i think that's probably the jobo mindset now.. what would you show them from very recent lies teachings to encourage them to consider the possibility the wbt$ is a scam?.
