jesus protected an adultress so why remove it?
it fits in nicely with his teachings, does it not?

NWT 1984 vs NWT 2013
by Tallon ini recently had a discussion with a jw concerning a change in wording of a scripture - in fact this was my all time favourite scripture, namely, micah 6:8.. my view is that the wtbts have deliberately changed the wording and meaning of the said scripture.
the other person is of the opinion that that is not the case.

Receiving so much hate recently....
by stuckinarut2 inwell, as you all know, my wife (unstuck) and i are not df or da.. we just stopped attending several years back after my "apostate" online activity was found by a nosey employee of ours while she was working in our office (long story if anyone wants to know - it would have to be another thread).
we never met with any elders - no congregation judicial activity occurred (as we would never consent to do so anyway).
so our policy has been to be the same kind, loving, normal people we have always been.

Sorry about the way people treat you that are supposed to love their enemies.
Gotta shout about how they are the 'true religion' because of the love amongst themselves.They'll never learn.
You can't talk bad about everyone in 'the world' and expect them to be drawn to you.
JWs repel people because of their cruel conduct and reputation.

I was just thinking about this today as well.
The quick builds were all part of an elaborate scam.
Free labor and in some cases free/reduced cost materials and in some instances, real estate.
The everyday dub had a sense of 'ownership' or 'entitlement' towards the KH projects.
Nope. Not even close to reality.
Now WT is cashing in their chips and there is not damn thing you can do about it.
It wasn't God's organization. It is a corporate publishing house turned real estate investment company disguised as a religion. ( for profit )I have likely worked on no fewer than 20 quick builds in Northern California from 1988- the early 2000s. All for the financial gain of WT. We were told it was a great witness to god, when is was in fact, just free labor...
