That reminds me, I have heard also many times of elders sitting in cars outside houses spying on the occupants to get evidence.

Has anyone had a jw hack into their email/tablet/phone etc to spy?

i also know of two cases were an elder went through a brothers phone to get dirt on him.
and another were a sisters email was hacked into to get dirt on her.. in both cases apparently it was for their spiritual protection (!

Two creation stories in the bible, why have I never noticed this??

it makes the point that there are two creation accounts in the bible!.
in one humans are created after the animals in the second humans are created before the animals.

In one humans are created after the animals in the second humans are created before the animals. In one Adam and eve were created at the same time but in the second Adam was created first.
Had anyone else noticed this?

Last night's bible highlights: David was wrong to greive for his son!
by purrpurr inlast night's bible highlights was really eyebrow raising!
the brother pointed out at lenght about how david had wept when his son absalom was killed.
but that because absalom was killed while opposing jehovah that means that david was wrong and weak to greive for him.. it was applied to today by saying that if our children are df'd when they die then we should not grieve for them either!.

It was applied to today by saying that if our children are DF'd when they die then we should not grieve for them either!

Living without the hope of paradise
by purrpurr ini have major health issues myself and as i deprogram myself further i'm getting so sick of other jw's telling me that i'll be cured in the paradise, new system is just around the corner etc etc.
of course i have to nod and look enthusiastic in return but inside i'm screaming with frustration!
i have accepted that unless medical science makes major breakthroughs that i will be like this until i die.

Of course I have to nod and look enthusiastic in return but inside I'm screaming with frustration! I have accepted that unless medical science makes major breakthroughs that I will be like this until I die. But there have been many people in history who have made huge contributions to society despite their physical limitations. So I take comfort from that.
How does anyone else cope with the paradise dogma etc?

if you haven't seen it its worth watching just for the ways he demolishes the religious advocates he interviews.. the most worrying things i saw in it were the us senator who says that having a high iq isn't a criteria for being senator and also all the muslims he interviews who despite claiming to have read the quran also claim that islam is a religion of peace..

Real estate buying, why are the GB doing this?

one of which was that in recent times they are focusing their efforts on buying property.
i don't understand what the purpose of this is?
