  and yet today's watchtower and indeed the bible condemns the israelites for moaning about having no water!

  Oh and this stupid thing of Moses's word choice of "we" rather than say "god" seriously! ? One word slip in the heat of the moment was enough to ban him from the promised land? After he had done so much and been through so much for his god and his god d isowns him after one slip up!

  wt on education..

  i have just watched the glass smashing on the wt video on education.. please consider these experiences from the opposite side of that "coin".. i have heard young ones say out-loud on the mike in the kh that "jehovah is my special friend.."these ones who were at the top of the wt 'tree' pioneering, putting in the hours etc but, it followed that soon saying that pivotal statement they dropped their pioneering, faded, picked up the girl/boyfriend and suffered being dfd.. so where did their wt "education" leave them?

  it left them as young adults naive to the world, unskilled, with no qualification to offer any employer and having to replace their former family/associates/friends with new ones.. ( dont get me going on shunning) in some cases with little success as we have read here where they moon about for months or longer unable to emotionally heal after the leaving or df'ing and also others with such a turn around they would never have believed it possible... there was a wt that related how a brother (!

  ) followed an interest in history and left the truth.

  All kids in my cong are biblical names except one lil girl who has a modern non biblical name... It caused alot of comment in the cong and the parents found themselves having to justify it!

  As the baby boomer generation dies out and the lack of men in the congregation gets worse I predict that the gb will STILL not allow women to teach, I bet they would rather centralize the meetings beaming them direct from the gb themselves than use women.

  The suppression of women in the Borg has always made me furious, especially since it seems to be getting worse with the whole head scarf thing, and the whole no trousers thing. Do they not realise that it makes the women look odd and out of place?

  Sounds to me like someone is feeling threatened. ...? Teehee! And I agree there's no way that the OP calls up the individuals congregation, for if he did then the elders would a) not give out any info cos they would hear the words "internet forum " and immediately assume that it was an apostate one and b) they would come down like a ton of bricks on the individual jw themselves either putting them off the OP's website OR the elders would behave in such a way that the scales would fall from the jws eyes and they would see the Borg for what they really are, in which case that jw would probably end up here instead!

  Either way, calling up congregations is a sure fire way to stop new members from signing up to the OP's website!

  Yes, the whole of these questions seem primed for enabling the elders to side with the abuser and blame the victim, "oh you were abused little one? Well if your father hadn't let his ministry hours fall maybe you wouldn't have been!"

  Wow! 26 for the whole of Scotland? That's incredibly low! Time was when that would have been a regional convention type number not a national convention.

  Is there any point in them running the baptism pools any longer? Soon it will get so little use as to not be cost effective
