gb member and so called "annointed" person geoffry jackson is caught red handed on video doing some worldly dancing and sexual gyrating (they have spoken against such manner of dancing on several occasions) with a woman who is not his wife!!!

i can only imagine what they do off camera now!!!.

i would not have even considerd doing such a thing on the dance floor with a woman, especially if it was not my wife, and i'm not even one of the so called "annointed" smh!!!

When I first learned about the bull $#@! about the cult that I am in, I reached out to my good friend who brought me into this organization through a study. This man is wonderful human being & I thought would be understanding to my struggles. It is going on almost 2 years now & I still have not heard back from him.

I was very sincere with my ?'s to him, he was after all an elder in the ORG. I wasn't sure that something was wrong with ORG until our conversation was abruptly ended by his re-action to what I was asking him. The clincher for him was when I asked about NGO staus etc. He said "There is no way that is true period" so I knew then that there is no reasoning with him whatsoever.

I realized that night without a doubt in my mind it is a CULT! Now I just gotta convince wife & couple of other family members. It has been very hard though, but I remain optimistic. NMH

Would you go to church?

i have an unspoken rule that if someone ever invites me to a church - that i haven't been to before - i will go.

even though i'm an atheist i'm still interested in the experiance.

just like i'm not into basketball but i would like to go to a game sometime to feel the energy of the crowd.. growing up as a jw i've never set foot in another church.

What is everyone gonna be obsessed with now? Who knows maybe the Annual Meeting? I am proud to say I didn't do a darn thing not even one minute of field service!!

my elder friend told me that his kh is in need of upgrading their electronic system so that they can be ready for the big zone meeting in november and they need the flat screen televisions mounted to also enjoy all future special meetings put on by the branch.

the branch has given them the exact specifications and he mentioned the branch wants to use apple products.

they passed a resolution for a one time donation by the publishers to pay for the $6,000.00 system.

I can say first hand account there are two new probably 50" TV's mounted in our Kingdom Hall. They have been up for over a month now. It is amazing how no one even asks why???

I AGREE 100%. I saw a pic on JW Instagram where some poor dude just got baptized (or right before) and some brother is pinning a JW.ORg pin on his ADDIDAS T-SHIRT http://instagram.com/p/sGX8CYnIYE/?modal=true

It is like some sort of initiation or coronation now. This is getting completely & utterly out of control.

I always thought this was a double standard amongst witnesses. What exactly is acceptable to JW's when it comes to music? An example is Prince. How is it OK to listen to him now that he is a JW (I think), but not before? So can you listen to songs like "Darling Nikki" or "Sexy M.F"? Or can you just listen to his post JW days? Makes no sense at all!

Another example is Pharrell's "Happy", is it OK cause he say's in song "Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth"? JW's are you serious this is a guy that has very racy songs (WHICH I LOVE) called "Truth or Dare" or "Tape You".

Seeing those videos of JW's getting down to "Happy", they must really think that the song has something to do with them or he was inspired to write that song because he knows that "JW's are HAPPY", Give me a break! Anywayz I love both PRINCE & PHARRELL's music & always had!!

this drives me insane when i am rebutted after i say "well take it easy brother so & so" after a small conversation.

they always seem to reply "we are in jehovah's organization there is no taking it easy" or "we are in the last days brother we don't have time to take it easy".

i guess this makes me a care-free man of the world rather than a spiritual man!!

Still waiting for my prayers to be answered or understanding to be RE-Adjusted!

so about 2 years ago when i started to feel like something was wrong with the religion (jw cult) i was in, i was told by close friend to just study more & pray incessantly to jehovah!.

well after careful consideration of the steps to re-build my faith in jw cult, i would have to say that after more rigorous study & prayer than ever before in the history of mankind, nothing answered, no new enlightment!.

except for me figuring out that it is a scam!

Same here disposable: My wife just looks the other way, we really don't talk about anything SPIRITUAL! I have to be very very careful about what I say. I don't want to be a jerk about all of this, cause I remember how I was crushed when I figured it out. One day it's gotta break!
