  Pleasuredome, I'm not saying that we should USE that licence. As was stated in the article, the fact that we are showing as much restraint as we are shows that we are a good and strong counrty. Rather than appreaciate the fact that we ARE seeking the world's approval and that we ARE attempting to appease everyone and that we ARE allowing our initaial rage to be moderated by the world comunity, (contrary to the statements by Pathofthorns who apparently doens't watch the news) people like you would rather point the finger at George W. and at America and say "It's your fault that some religious fanatics killed a bunch of innocent people." Or, in your own words, "...the US government....now have to deal with the ugly mess they themselves created, and all innocent people have to suffer including the american people themselves." Pardon my French but f*#k you in the ass with a broomstick and no vasaline. 9/11 is NOT our fault and the world is LUCKY that the U.S. has acted with more restraint, class, and concern for innocent people than the people who's fault 9/11 really is.

  Ever think of going back undercover?

  was watching a new tv show called "do over" where a grown man goes back in time and is a high school student again, with all of his adult knowledge.

  the premise has often come to my mind.

  what would i have done if i knew then what i know now?

  I've thought about it a million times, just for the sheer personal amusement of stirring the pot and screwing with them. But seeing the idea on a message board got me thinking. If this was done on a nation wide basis, it could seriously screw up the whole house of cards. Think about it, thousands, or even just hundreds of people across the country going back in at once. The logic and truth injected into the JW system would alone turn some fence-sitters (the "spiritually weak" ones) away and plant seeds of doubt in those who were too far in to just quit. The more people that went in and the longer they stayed there, the worse the outbreak of reality would be. Sure some would be found out but that would be good too. All of a sudden, reports would start to trickle in to the higher-ups of an undercover here, then one over there, and then there and there too. The higher the office, the more of the picture they'd see. Then they'd turn around and send down orders into the system to check everyone and trust no one. Even after the last undercover was exposed and kicked out, the paranoia would continue. Extra DFings, DAs increased, more people leaving because of the harshness of the scrutiny, pandamonium. It would be glorious.

We have license to do a lot worse than ask the world's approval and appease everyone before we take out an anti-American regime that helped the people who commited this crime against us and against humanity.

  there is christmas music blaring out in every shopping centre now, it started in mid-november.

  it works a treat, reminds everyone to get spending.

  most of it is rubbish, i feel so sorry for shopworkers having to listen to that for 7 weeks.

  Trading Spaces Fans Look Here!

  travel with us across the pond as trading spaces meets changing rooms for an international redecorating challenge!

  andy's got his hands full on this show, building a wall of closet doors for hildi's child bedroom, and a box of drawers for under the bed in gen's master bedroom.

  we don't get much help from the weather 90 mile per hour gusts of wind knock over our work tent and threaten to send us into overtime.

  I can't stand Paige Davis, though I still watch the show on most weekends. I miss Alex McCloud. I'm with ya on Vern, I like his designs. I would have a blast working with the tubby bearded guy (Frank?) but I wouldn't let him touch my house. Hildi has to go.

And I am going to put in my will that I want "Highway to Hell" played at my funeral, anyone who interferes with that wish will forefit anything bequiethed to them, that bequiethment to be divied among the rest of the recipients.

  We are very fortunate & take it for granted

  we've just been watching an absolutely heart wrenching documentary on itv about a little girl with a very rare disease (progeria) which makes her age prematurely at 10 times the normal rate.

  she will be like an old woman by the time she is 10.. they have a meet-up where the little kids with the same condition can play and have fun together and seeing their poor little faces looking so happy is a wonder to behold.

  i guess it's easy to forget that inside they are still really little kids.

  Yup, sure as shit you can bet that will happen. At the rate we're going, we'll eventualy have to spend 5 minutes unwraping our burger 'cause they'll need a newspaper to fit all the warnings and cautions on it. Like anyone is gonna read that crap anyway. Anyone out there listen to the 30 seconds of speed-speak at the end of car commercials on the radio? Anyone read the micro-print at the bottom of the TV screen telling us vital information about MSRP? Of course not. It's just a bunch of crap that companies need so they can have a legal defense when brainless wonders like these McDonalds nazis come a-suing. I hope McDonalds counter-sues and that the judge gives them 10 years on the charge of severe idocy.

This is right on par with that whole Jackass thing. If I shoot my girlfriend, can I send the employees of Smith & Wesson to prison because guns kill? Think I can make some money by stabing myself and suing Ginsu because knives are sharp? Look! I drove my car off a cliff and now I'm suing God because gravity made the car fall! No wonder other countries look down on Americans. Hell, these kind of people make me embarrased to be the same species.

  I am glad for my experience as a JW. It helped me take a serious look at the whole god question and helped me to formulate my answer. Now that I have that answer, I can move onto other things in life without looking back or wondering. Now I consider religion a cop out!
