What do I want on my Tombstone?

I've always thought I would have a quote from the Jimmy Buffett song "He Went to Paris"

    Some of its magic

    and

    Some of its tragic

But I had a good life all the way.

But I don't really know if that's true or not and I have always tried to be an honest person.

Then concentrate on making it better NOW Joel - make it better for yourself - concentrate on making it better for Mitch -

You aint done yet - so forgettabout it. You still have to give back the love you've been given - you have a whole lifetime to do that - use it wisely.

    I'll put

"A day late, a dollar short"

I want to play "Another one bites the dust" at my funeral, but I think it would be too hard on my family, would be funny though.

I think I am incapable of giving love back.

I think maybe that's why when people really get to know me they don't like me.

Joel, your mind runs to the morbid. Your last one on how long you will be remembered, and now this one. Personally, I don't give a crap how long I will be remembered nor what they put on my tombstone or even if I have a tombstone. As far as I am concerned they can put me in a large card board box and mail me out of town when I am dead. I plan on enjoying today, and I will do the same thing tomorrow if I am not a corpse by then.

    Speaking of headstones:

    (um, naughty word warning!)

And yes, Joel, I know I'm not in the spirit of things...
I do hope you feel better soon.

I don't want a tombstone. Just creamate my a$$ and stick me in an urn. Or, better yet, scatter my ashes around a tree or something.

However, I would like a nice BIG obituary.

"Born a dirty old man and died a dirty old man." Or is this a Farkelistic pizza thread?

I always liked what the late actress Joan Hackett had put on her marker:
