How many people do you *truly* hate?
by Nosferatu ini can honestly say that there aren't many that i truly hate.
however, there is a small list.
it used to contain only two people, but a third is making it's way on that list.

As much as I truly agree with Ian, I am ashamed to admit that when I read this question, two names immediately popped up: Bob, the predator who abused me when I was a child, and Kara, the slut who tried to destroy the trust between my boyfriend and I.
I have not, however, done much of anything to exact revenge on either of these individuals; I prefer to wait for the inevitable karmic justice to be meted out when they least expect it. Perhaps these two will find each other and make each other's lives' hell. It's not my worry, and I have far better things to do with my time than concern myself with such vermin.
*sorry, please add to this list the sick perv who hurt two of my friends when they were children. Him, I would gladly tear a chunk out of.

I wanted to see it last week, but my honey was out of town, so I've planned for us to go this weekend. Just from the ads, it looks wonderful! And if he won't go with me, I'll go by myself; that's how stoked I am about this movie.

All Secret Santa Paricipants sign in here please!
by Gadget inthe details of who to send a gift to will be getting pm'd to you all either friday afternoon or saturday morning!
according to the information i've found online the last posting day for standard parcels is dec 11th for usa and december 15th for the uk/europe, so you should all have plenty of time to select and send a gift, although sending sooner rather than later is prefered.
can everyone taking part post on this thread what things they like, what their interests are etc so that the person who is buying a gift for you has some idea what to get you.

I'm sort of a hippie/goth/pagan, if that helps. So, I love anything to do with nature, and I collect (fake) skulls and vintage medical stuff (like old anatomical charts; I already own a phrenology head.) Maybe some photos of the countryside in your area that I could frame, or a tape of local music- bonus if you are performing it! If you're talented (or hey, even if you're not!) you could draw/paint me a picture. Just something that will make me think of the person who sent it to me.

You know you are from Portland when....
by Xander inokay, now the *sad* think about this list is that everything on it is absolutely 100% true with no exaggeration or hyperbole.
(if you don't get it....well, you've obviously never been to portland): .
you know you are from portland when?.you throw an aluminum can in the trash and feel guilty.

This was pretty funny! Believe it or not, a great many of these things hold true for residents of the "other" Portland as well- the one in Maine. Just add a lot of quaint "shoppes" selling nautical gee-gaws to the tourists, and we're pretty much the same.
