  any raspy fans here?

  i've been trying to get hold of a copy of "oh perilous world," their latest, to no avail.

  it seems the local music store only got a couple of copies, and sold out quickly.

  Cat is in trouble- advice?

  my mom's cat got into some of her embroidery floss and swallowed it.. this was maybe three days ago.

  her vet won't see him, too busy.

  he's not eating much at all now, and i fear the worst.

  in the episode i just watched, the doctor was fiddling with rose's cellphone and used the term "jiggery-pokery.

  " i'm pretty sure that's what he said.

  what does that term mean?

  Pulmonary embolism

  i just found out through the grapevine that my brother had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot went into his lung and almost killed him) a couple of weeks ago.

  he's ok now, and the doc has him on blood thinners, which he'll need for the rest of his life, to keep it from happening again.

  it's pretty amazing that he survived, as these things are usually only diagnosed during autopsies, it's not too often people survive them.

  Missed the danged memorial!

  hey, all.

  so, i was at work, and a buddy of mine came in and told me he'd been invited to the memorial by my cousin, who's a witness.

  he didn't end up going, as he thought it sounded strange that he, as a practicing christian, wouldn't be allowed to partake of the wine and bread.

  Question about internet providers

  i'm back online for now, although my living arrangements are still sort of up in the air.

  just in case anyone was wondering about my sudden absence.... anyhow, i'm trying to find an isp for my bf, who frequently travels for his job.

  he needs one he can use in the us and in other countries he's in, such as japan, australia, and spain.
