This is another thing that really bothered me growing up in the borg...I felt that women had know say in the cult...Have you ever heard the saying"Behind a good man is a good WOMEN" Well for me at that time it was my dad... I remember my first 'stir of the pot in the borg'....I wanted to be the person who held the mic.We had recieved 2 new mics for the hall. Two of the regular boys were not doing it (or aloud) any more. So I went to the 'Elders on my own and asked if I could do it.....Of course the answer was NO.......I called them on it and got in big trouble from them......but oh well, I made my point at a very young age.....still to this day, when I see my young childhood friends that arent in the borg anymore, they always comment on that....I mean really......why could a female not stand there with her dress on and hand a mic to someone.....They actually held service a 1/2 hour later because they were too busy giving me sh** in the basement of the hall on how I embarssed an elder in front of everyone asking..WHY the hell not? Is it bacause I am a girl?....needless to say, it never went over well but I made my point loud and clear.........by the way,does anyone know if this rule has changed? would be interested in knowing if a women could do it now......

WT Farm Graveyard

There was no single incident for my family..There were many,from The adultry acted out in front of impressionable youths.(young teens)The disgusting behaviour from SOME elders and the lack of respect shown to the young adults in the "borg".These are the three top reasons my parents left, and I was right behind them..Actually you could say I was the leader of that pack...I really rebeled badly till I got my moms and dads attention to leave that cult...Bottem line was me or the relegion..I was damn serious about them never seeing me again if they did not do something about what was going on...Needless to say....They made their point there,and got the hell out...To this day I have the most respect for my parants....My dad left first,then mom followed 3 -4 months later....Mom and dad went and got me and promised me they would never return.....My grandmother is still a dedicated dub,but never ever shunned any of us...(even though she is in the wrong for doing this)...We did those alot of "so called friends" but now that I am adult,I know they were not our friends......sorry I started going off topic......
