I'm so excited! Got the proof for my book cover today!
by SanFranciscoJim inwell, it's been a long time coming, but my publisher just sent me the proof for the cover of my sci-fi novel today, and it looks fantastic!
i wrote back and told them it was well worth the wait.. as soon as they release the book, i'll make a shameless announcement so you can all rush out and buy a copy.
(unless, of course, you want me to come to your town for a book-signing!

i was looking for information, comfort and explanations for what happened in my life and i?ve found all that and more here---thank you all so much for your contributions, words of wisdom and humor.
3 years ago, almost 4, i was a divorced mother of 3 just getting my life together after having been married to a raging alcoholic for over 13 years.

First of all, WELCOME to the board.....Thank your lucky stars he is gone....I know, right now you may not see this, But once a person gets wrapped into that cult, they have a very hard time making their own choices....If one is already weak,then it will be even easyer for the jws to suck him in, no matter what his feelings are for you.....And be thankful that your children do not have to endure such brain washing....Ask yourself this question, Would I want my children to have to miss out on all their Birthdays, Christmas, and other holidays??...Do you think it would have been worth it, to be with him,and have to live with all those new things in your childrens life? Love and letting go are not suppose to feel the same way, Unfortunatly this will hurt for a while, but in time, you will learn that he did you a favor........In time though, you will also be a much happier person then he will ever be able to dream about....Chin up Little1 and welcome to a new journey....

My brother died last night
by doodle-v inmy brother turned 21 on september 24th, a month later the doctor told him that his leukimia had returned and he had a 10% chance of surviving.
ten days before he died he spent four days at my house.
he had already made up his mind that he wasnt going to take blood.

If you lived close enough to me, I would.....I had that feeling today and went out and jugged down a couple of mikes and through some pretty good darts tonight......Needless to say, I felt totally compelled after I woofed down a family size bar when I got home ( only because they did not have chocolate bars at out local Legion..lol.).....Its all good now...Do it sweetheart, you will feel better....
