  Your favorite holiday song?

  even when i was a jw, i enjoyed hearing holiday music.

  some of it is religious, some of it is just "holiday cheer" music.

  but it's fun to listen to, and sometimes those songs just stick in your head.. do you have any particular favorites this time of year?.

  A serious question about the angels that materialized pre-flood

  according to the bible, the angels saw the daughters of men, materialized into human bodies and married the women, had children.

  here's my question...did they create for themselves a human body or did they transform themselves into a human body that already existed?

  i know this may seem silly, but i was just wondering where the sperm came from to impregnate the women?

  The turkeys ready.....

  i just hope i am..... you see,i have been sick for days now, and so have been the kids with this damn chest cold...... they have been home from school and i have been laying on the couch for 3 days now....the house looks like a tornadoe went through it, and the butcher just called to confirm my 25lb turkey is ready to be picked up on tuesday for x-mas dinner... i am having 23 here to cook for, and i am not in the mood right now for it...so much work ahead of me right now.... anyways, where do you go for christmas dinner?

  do you cook it, or does someone else do it in your family?.

  i have aways done the christmas dinner at my house, but this year i am not feeling up to it at all...... do you think it would be rude for me to ask everyone in the family to bring something to the dinner?

  Hubby made this suggestion to me, I make the trukey,and everybody else brings a side dish? I would have never thought of it, but when you are cooking for that many, it kinda takes away from the joyfulness for me....What do you think?

  Which is worse: Going in Service or Having a Meeting on a Holiday?

  i used to dread the prospect of having an evening meeting to to go hanging over my head all day long on a major holiday, almost as much as being compelled to ``go out in service.".

  Service was for me.I hated having to see all my friends when out on service....We lived in a very small town that had less then 2600 people in it, so I knew everyone....Nothing like going to a high school reunion and that is all they remember about you, how you desturbed their x-mas dinner...

  i'm doing a report for school on jehovah's witness and i've looked all over the internet and i can't seem to find the method by which they maintain a distinct identification (for example symbols, clothing, and appearance, etc) if anybody can help i would be grateful.
