well the move went well.

i am in montreal at the moment and will be looking for a place and work in ottawa.

my husband was nice to the end with just the occasion reminder i should have talked to him more seriously.

I'm glad you made it and you and your things are safe. Some times men/parteners just listen with one ear instead of both, or hear what is convient for them.( just like children in a way) I wish you well in the future with finding a new home.

it's been a very long week.i have spent most of week in the hospital with my nana.. she had a massive heart attack on tuesday and it is not looking good.she has gone down hill fast since pop's passed recentainly.. please say a prayer for her.

Thank you all so much guys......Sorry it has taken me so long to post back, but I have been at the hospital 24/7. Nothing much has changed. Nana is still in ICU, which makes it tough to go and see her when ever we want. Only one person and family memeber at a time aloud in the room.There has been an awful amount of damage to the heart the doctor said.We will not know the full about of damge till some more tests are done. She is too week right now to have them.Anyways, thanks again for your support as it does mean alot to me.

Not only am I dealing with this but now I am on my to the vet before I go back to the hospital. It seems our Simease cat was hit by a car last night and I believe something is broken. We will see what the vet say's but I think he may have broken his hip. He is not walking at all and just dragging his legs behind him.

If there is a god out there, please give me strength to carrie on today......

Remembering Halloween As A JW Kid . . .

i remember my mom and my aunt making us kids open the door to the trick-or-treators and instead of giving them candy, we had to put wt and awake!

magazines (back issues) in their bags.

how embarrassing.. anyone else have the same experience?.

Cant say I had to put mags in the bags, but we did some times sit in the dark if we got home too early from our outing at supper.As we got older we got to go bowling with the congo on halloween night..

i was just watching some television show and they were advertising a movie directed by christopher reeves about a young girl that was paralyzed, and overcame many obstacles.

i thought that was just awesome that he had directed a movie.

then i got a mail on cnn breaking news that he had died... how very very awful.... <sob>`superman' star christopher reeve dies .

I saw Mama Mia this past summer... Saw it in Toronto and I have to tell you it was the best show I have ever seen.We had the very back seats in the place but we had a great time and saw the show perfectly. I took my 60 year old mother and my 12 year old son with me and we all enjoyed it very much. By the end of the show we were all out of our seats raising the roof dancing....If you ever get a chance to see it, I certainly recommend it. You will not be dissappointed...

I told someone that the JWs were a cult

don't know how to start this... the other day, i was at work talking to the fellas there.. somehow they mentioned 'cults' - and i blurted out something like "jehovah's witnesses are also a cult.".

they quickly said "don't let p**** hear you say that.

he's a jehovah's witness.".

So the moral of this story is, don't go fishing without your hat....cause(1) you might run into Jw's riding their bikes down at the river (2)offering you fishing lures with mags attached to them (3)looking for a small donation just to cover the printing costs...

That was really cute Jim with all the 3's.....I did really have a good chuckle over that...
