  Our Puppy did not make it.

  well after going to bed early for it has been a long day i was awaken by my fourteen year old and she was crying for the vet just called and the puppy i got them two weeks ago just died.

  the breeder was at an expo at city hall and they all gave me those "mom i am going to die if i don't have her" looks till i forked over money i did not have for this lil baby beagle.

  we brought her home and i thought my she must be so tired for she slept a lot the first day.

  You have ever right to cry....We need to in order to heel our heart and soul...

  YOU need to to go after the a$$holes that sold you that pup...

  You did not have that pup near long enough to be running to the vets with his condition. Like another poster said, go to your aspc and find out your rights....take out adds in your local paper....fight for your rights and rights of those poor pups that did not have a chance cause of a damn owner concerned of making $$$$$$$....

  For now, grief, cry, and be there for your kids but once you get over your broken heart, go right after the bastards! Just my 2 pennies...

  BTW, i just lost my baby about a month ago and perhaps I am still a little bitter about it...we do get close to our animals...they are just like our family...

  Finally Got It

  i had gone to walmart to get a new pair of shoes and when i was comming down the street to my house i saw a car pull up the street above my house and just had a feeling it was the jws.

  my grandson was in the house and didn't answer the door but they left the religion tract behind the door.. i guess the end is nearer now that i got the tract but all religion has ended for me anyway.. ken p..

  Can anyone tell me if it is a deep read? I only ask cause with my ADD I have a hard time sitting through a tough book....bits and pieces of the read works for me though...

  Yes and no.....I too have ADD (very short attention span), but it's an incredible book. Alot of history of the religion in there along with the history of how Ray became a member of the Governing Body. He tells it almost apologetically and without malice. You'll be hooked

  Throwing the history part in there with make me squirm as well....dates just send me for a loop when there are so many to remember....

  Will give it a try though....I really have wanted to have a peek at that book...

  Maybe I will skip on over to amazon myself and grab it...I am needing something new to read....

  i was a dub kid..i didn`t celebrate anything i wasn`t supposed to..now i`m an adult ,i`m not a dub..i am thankfull for those who fought for our freedoms..the freedom to say what we want..i wear a poppy in rememberance of those who died for our freedoms..some may not be comfortable with that..that`s ok..think about it..if it was`nt for those people,freedom of expression wouldn`t exist..this board wouldn`t exist...outlaw

  Mom Died -- and I found out from an old friend!

  ok, i'm writing this thru tears as i just found out in the last 5 minutes.

  my dad died in august, and they had been together just 1 or 2 weeks over 70 years married!

  i didn't expect her to last without him, and visa versa.. i just tried to call my sister, and no answer there.

  Called for Jury Duty

  i'm what you would call a unpatriotic, and a free thinker who doesn't agree with the judicial system in california.

  i've been called for jd about six or more times and every time they never use me because i make it very plain that i don't and won't play be thier rules when it comes to jd.

  usually i'm the first one the prosecutor dismisses because of my free thinking unpatriotic point of views that i make known as soon as i can.. i think our prisons are over crowded because of the states eagerness to inprision people, for things that i can never agree with.

  Six or more times? Yeesh. Do you have to take a day off for that?

  Yeah, you sure do and that's what I think is injustice.......

  My hubby was just called for jury duty for the 3rd time and it puts a big screw (for a lack of words) into your own family if they (the jury duty person called) are the bread winner of the family.

  I don’t think they ( my hubby) should receive their whole pay for attending if they are indeed chosen as a representative but should be entitled to more then 25-30 bucks a day.

  As much as my husband feels he could be and was a good candidate for a certain case he felt more committed to his family. He felt if he did do the case, we would suffer financially.

  I believe there would be more candidates stepping up to the plate for cases if only they would provide what they would have lost due to income.

  Just my 2 pennies.

  Just in from a concert

  of exjw jaunita wilkins.....i listened to her great voice ...and was thinking of the first time i met her .... she was attending a gathering were i was speaking ...a plump little lovely girl with a heart broken look & said " im a d/f jehovahs witness " of course i hugged & congratulated her.

  that was many years ago..... there she was on stage tonight > slim, beautiful, faboulous voice, plays guitar so well, my heart opened up & had to say this to any of the brooklyn boys reading this > "thank you brothers?
