back in 1972 the wtb&ts published a new translation of the bible, "the bible in living english", otherwise known as byington's translation.. who was byington?.
the publisher's note tells us that steven t byington was born in 1868 and studied languages at a university and a theological seminary.
he was a member of the congregational church in massachusetts, usa and the translation was almost his lifetime's work.

after a long struggle for my little sister to have a baby, she is now a proud mom to a 7lb 11oz baby boy...i am so excited....just wanted to share my happiness for her...you see she was told she would never have a baby because of cancer...after many, many miscarriages her husband and her were finally told they would have a baby..she had a tuff pregnantcy..she was bed ridden for the last 2 months and had shots of steroids every day for the last 2 months to get the babies lungs growing.
( due to the fact they thought she would go real early because she started labour 3 times...but 3 times they stopped labour) mom, dad, and baby are healthy and happy.they go home in 2 days and i cant wait to hold my first nephew...thanks for reading and sharring my happiness.

a jw relative brought out something i actually had to agree with.
we were discussing positive vs. negative aspects of the "truth".
she brought out that the witnesses do not participate in war, and i thought 'gee, that's probably a good thing'.
the polo mints...we got them when I placed mags....oh and the free coffee before service....oh wait,I take that back, you had to bring cream or surgar to have a free coffee....I guess only the mints..

while i have seen on many occasions the benefit of sharing our past problems, or life, with others who have been through the same.
i am very curious as to what the real benefit would be, to leaving a religion of such control and segregated thinking, only to venture online or in person to others who are basically a lost congregation of the religion.
does it benefit a person to seek out former jehovah's witnesses?

this was my project for last year, and it took much of the year to learn and play it, but it is "halloween appropriate.
" it is the danse macabre and was orginally written for orchestra only.
franz liszt did the piano reduction, and it is nearly impossible to play.
How humbling......that was so beautiful and traquil......nice to see you back...

have you ever wondered what your iq is?
or at least what the "professionals" claim it could be?
if you didn't have or take the opportunity to acquire a formal education, have your life experiences increased your iq?
Yeah,I have ADD....just as I thought....
Could not do the IQ test.......did not have the patients.

i drove to work early, 6 am, and it was foggy outside, winter is approaching, dark, couldn't see for that long a distance ahead of the car.
after having passed a small forest, i passed the chuchyard with its long stony fence to the left.
then, there she was - a spooky, blurry, but very shining white nun.
Thats something I would not want to see....It would scare the hell out of me..
