  How Reliable are "Messianic" Prophecies?

  bible supporters feel they have an ace-in-the-hole with the discovery of the dead dea scrolls in the 50's that give creedence to the bible book of isaiah.

  they feel this book contains "messianic prophecies" about jesus.....hence the bible must be true since jesus fullfilled these 'particular ' scriptures they use from the book of isaiah.. here are some of the scriptures.

  read them, research them, and see if you feel these scriptures actually had anything to do with jesus.

  Anyone Noticed Wild Animals Returing

  here in nc there have been several species of wild animals returning to this area.

  when i was young there were no dear, wild turkeys, skunks, chip monks, beavers, ground hogs, and some others i've forgotten.

  the reason i notice them so much is they are being killed on the road by cars.. i guess the reason is because people hunted them so much in my youth that they killed them all out.

  Dolls/Stuffed animals.... what's your opinion?

  i had my two girls with me today.

  they were as beautiful and loving and caring as ever.. they each had their own favorite dolls that they cared for much like i care/d for them.

  it was beautiful to watch!!!!!!!!.

  I still remember a stuffed snoopy I had as a lad. I was attached to it. This summer, when I had the Badger Pup down, he brought a couple of stuffed animals...and then LOST IT when he discovered he left "Jenny," his stuffed panther, back home. I knew how he felt...

  Next day, we raided the local retail collective (the mall) and he immediately grabbed a small stuffed Racoon. "I'm gonna wreck your house!" it said, with Badger Pup's falsetto. What is it about children that puts them perfectly into character for stuffed animals?

  Now, my problem...

  I CAN'T FIND A GOOD STUFFED BADGER ANYWHERE!

  because, they inform us, only pagans celebrated birthdays per the bible and in each case a death occurs.

  let us examine the two passages they use to support their conclusions.
