  Gee, all this time I thought that Jehovah looked at your heart condition, and gave you his undesereved kindness based on that.

  My dad tried this line on me the other day. I told him I wasn't going to take my son from my ex (who left the org, but not in the good way) unless I knew that something bad was happening to him. He said, "When he dies at armageddon, his blood will be on you!"

  I thought legacies just got you into Yale, not the new system.

  I skipped my prom to drive 8 hours to watch the Blues whack the Dead Wings in the '91 Norris Division Semifinals (Norris Division! Hello Old School!). Of course, I couldn't get a date, and, being a witness, I couldn't have gone anyway

  I listened to grainy, static-heavy KMOX broadcasts from 450 miles away just to hear Dan Kelly shout, "Hull shoots, HE SCORES!" the year that Brett put up 74 goals. (Before he became Judas Hull)

  I saw Gino Cavallini BEAT THE $#!+ out of Bob Probert while my Dad lobbed a cup of beer at him from the upper deck. (and gave a public talk the next morning on hospitality...Love ya, dad.)

  I fully anticipate the Blues' inevitable 84-0-0-0 record this year, along with a perfect playoff run as we, the only team to make the Stanley Cup Finals in each of the first three years of existence, hoist the Cup.

  I would suggest doing it the way that others on this board and at work have done to people still in...like me...

  Don't raise an objection to thier postion...just lend and ear and bolster their doubts. Let them know that you have their best interests at heart. Whatever worries them about their faith is something they can confide in you...It won't get back to their friends/family/elders.

  Or will it? I just joined two weeks ago, and just got a call for the first time in my life from an elder saying I was missed...hmm...anyone talking here?

  wow...i watched most of the colts vs. bucs game last night and i have to say that was possibly one of the best games i have seen in a long time.

  3 touchdowns in 4 minutes!

  Davis is to blame for the overtaxing, but you can't lay the energy crisis on him...that goes on Kenneth Lay, who when he was head of Enron slowed the flow of natural gas into the state by jacking up the prices. Kenneth Lay walks free -- proof that Jesus died in vain.

  If Ah-nold wins,I wish he would take him to task (He's been going on and on about "special interests") I'm not counting on it, though. The state will likely get worse, and Arnie will just conveniently claim that "It's Davis' Fault."
