i was always told it was satan and his demons making people think they exist.

i always thought the guy that excavated king tutenkahmun had a curse on him though.. .

Please don't assume skeptics never have weird experiences. They just resist the urge to rush to supernatural explanations.

And I can understand this if the experience is more on the vague side. Sometimes though, the experience is not vague and very specific things happen and there is communication and comprehension and things that happen that can have no other explanation. Our experience wasn't vague and there were several eye witnesses who have never forgotten what happened. I'm glad we had the experience because we have no doubt that human beings are not alone. There is intelligent life besides us. If this hasn't happened to you, I can understand your feelings on the subject. When I say you, I mean anyone reading this who hasn't had experience with the supernatural.

Our experience wasn't a weird, vague experience. It was very specific and unmistakable. I haven't sought out such an experience again. Once is enough for me.

I understand people's doubts if they haven't had experiences with the supernatural. I've had experience with it and I still doubt people's stories at times.

Why does Organic Chemistry prove God's exists?

it does not prove god exists, there is no substantial evidence god is real.

if one is a self labeled atheist, one has no desire to see gods fingerprints in organic chemistry.

Kate, I was driving home from Holland, MI last night. Up to my left, all night, hung a huge, bright, nearly full moon, cozily lighting my way home. I drive home the back, country way, no street lights. Have you seen the documentary about how dark the world was before electric lights? I look at that moon and think it isn't any accident. I see God in the material world, everywhere. I'm one who sees the complexities, the intricasies and the way things are interwoven and depend on each other and I don't see a bunch of accidents. Doesn't matter to me if someone else draws the same conclusions I do, but this is my honest thinking on our amazing, awe inspiring material world. No matter what level I look at, chemistry, molecular or with the naked eye, the complex mathmatics involved add up to evidence powerful, intelligent presence.

Why hasn`t / doesn`t the "TRUE GOD" clarify his " GODSHIP" between the JEWS , the CHRISTIANS and the MUSLIMS.

it has been about 2000 years since jesus walked the earth and has been hailed as the son of god by christians .. the jews refuse to acknowledge jesus as the son of god.. the muslims recognise jesus as only a prophet .. their are billions of christians earth wide.

their are at least a billion muslims world wide.

i`m sorry i dont know how many jews their are world wide ( please add the 6 million who died in concentration camps ).

Lisa, like I said, southern belles are like any other women, we just do with it with a little style. When I think of steel magnolias, I think of how tough all women are, beneath that feminine surface. I remember the song by Alice Cooper: Only Women Bleed. I loved going garage sale-ing in the south because it was fun to find treasures and then fun to negotiate a price.

Most of us southern women are true southern belles though. We are more like the ladies of Designing Women. We are like women everywhere really, we just do it with southern charm and a bit of sashay.

Haven't seen DD, but I lived in the city across the river from them, for about a year. My former husband, the 2nd one, grew up in West Monroe. He's super excited about the show. He and his cousins all sported beards when they strayed from the JWs. He's not funny, but he's got at least 6 cousins who look and sound like Larry the Cable Guy.

Swalker, I'm southern born and raised. I was taught to speak properly. My mother made us pay her nickels everytime we used bad grammar. I can sound more refined, but I can ham it up like the women in your video link. I'd keep it a little more classy though. I don't do 'possum humor, not some at all. Yayis dahlin', I am a sissyfied city girl mostly, so I have never, ever cooked a squirrel, though I have cooked up some venison. Don't eat the stuff, but I have cooked it. I wish I hadn't moved around the country so much. Then I'd have kept that very regal, almost lock jaw, Mobile, coastal drawl. I tell people I am from cosmopolitan Alabama, because I come from Mobile. I owe my life to Auburn University. My parents met when they were students at AU.

So, Smiddy, like I said, maybe God isn't partial to any of the three groups you mentioned. Perhaps he/she is simply God to all and isn't going to humor any of the three.

Here's a fourth choice: God is universal. Loves unconditionally. He/she understands all circumstances. Isn't out for blood or eternal punishment. Doesn't matter if you figure it out or not.
