Suggestions for car buying
by FlyingHighNow inif you were a lady and you were 55 and had $5,000 or less to spend on a used car, what would buy?
top concerns: good mpg; reliable; in not having major issues like ball joints breaking, timing belts breaking, etc.
not too expensive to maintain.

Thanks, Simon. The last car I drove, which I sold to the mechanic yesterday for $200, was a nightmare. I had the ball joints break twice. I had the timing belt break once and had to have the engine rebuilt. I've had a tie rod pop loose. The car jumped time and destroyed the engine. I give up. I've never had a car with such problems before. It's been dangerous. I may have more money to spend, but I'm going to see what's available in the $5,000 range. I have a friend who can get corporate, fairly low mileage Chevy Impalas, 2010, for $10,000, but another friend is discouraging that idea. HOpe to have the money this month. Meanwhile, I'll be asking for rides to work, something very hard to do.

Comfortable, roomy enough to cart 6ft plus teenagers around in. Not rusting, etc. Where to buy.
Please discuss.

Viola, she used to type letters to me. She would correct them with ink pen. She sent me a subscription to a girls magazine called Ingenue. She would put little things in her letter like a silver book mark, monogrammed with an F for the family name, which I still have.

WT Study Article Counsels JWs To Be Humane Towards Disfellowshiped Ones
by baldeagle inwt august 1, 1974 pp.
467-468 maintaining a balanced viewpoint toward disfellowshiped ones.
5 it is right to hate the wrong committed by the disfellowshiped one, but it is not right to hate the person nor is it right to treat such ones in an inhumane way.suppose, then, a member of a christian congregation boating on a lake were to see another boat containing a disfellowshiped person capsize, throwing the disfellowshiped one into the water where he struggled to stay afloat.

My sister told me that even if she, her husband, my brother or his wife are dying or dead, she will not be contacting me or my children, nor will contact her sons.

What Drew You To The Witnesses?
by minimus ini did believe for the first 30 years of my life that they had been picked by jehovah god to dispense the truth as best as imperfect humans could.
then, everything became questionable.
i had read anti jw books in the past but franz's books really got to me but not immediately.

My brother had a lot of doubts about his eastern beliefs when he died. He was 22 and I looked up to him a lot. I was left with a lot of painful questions when he died. I didn't think that his death influenced my decision to study a couple of months later, but probably it did.

I wanted to know the real truth, from the time I was a child. I also dreamt up a world like the song Imagine, long before Imagine hit the radio waves. I did not believe the Bible at the time. I teetered between diest and the eastern lines of thought on spirituality. I was 17. It took many months of them talking to me and answering questions I didn't think there were any answers for. My brother died in there somewhere. I was living with my sister, who was studying. I did myself in really, because I felt they'd be happy if I asked questions.
