I think the real divide is thinkers vs non-thinkers ...
Everyone thinks. The question is how much complex thought does a person put into something. Some people have stronger high order thinking skills than others do.

A few questions for believers
by keyser soze inwhen confronted with all of the inconsistencies and atrocities of the bible, many believers invariably claim that they don't base their faith in christ on what's written in the bible.
so what is the basis then, if not scripture?.
and please don't tell me "the lord has revealed himself to me".

i do believe we're entering autumn.
so summer has had its day and like an old friend slipped away and we moves on...how do you feel about entering autumn?.

Another Autumn song, a classic Autumn Leaves, covered here by Andrea Bocelli with his Fiancee "Les Feuilles Mortes' (Autumn Leaves)"

Here in Michigan, we had a longer winter with several feet of snow and frigid temperatures. We thought it would never end. Sooo, this year, I am not thrilled to see summer end.
Usually, I do love Autumn, but when the frosts come, my container garden will die. I enjoy my garden immensely.
I'm an October baby, so I do love October. I love Thanksgiving. I hate shoes though, so wearing shoes is a pain in the backside.
One of my favorite songs about Autumn, from my teenaged years.

Divorcing my husband of 13 years...
by 2pink inmy husband and i were both born ins.
i left in 2009, and he followed me out a bit later.
we were one of those couples who followed the script, married young and ended up having nothing in common other than the religion.

I wish you well. It's very apparent that you love all of your children so much. You're investigating the legalities and seeking the advice and experience of others. Maybe there are other parents of special needs kids, that have been through divorce, in your area where you can draw some support and ideas about resources.

I am sporadic. Sometimes I miss 2 or 3 weeks of reading or posting. Then there are times I check a few days in a row and nothing catches my interest. If I am posting on a thread or two that is very active, I might be back days in a row posting. I can go a month without posting,

It's easy for men, who may be making good salaries and never had to raise kids full time, much less raise kids and work fulltime, to say just leave.
Lisa is right, you have to make the right decision for you and the children. Be aware that what can seem like a good decision at the time, can have so many unforseen cibsequences. All I am saying is really, really think this through. Look at what kind of quality of life and environment there will be for you and your children. You'll be choosing a different lifestyle and family culture.
