Call them common origin stories. Babylonions are the source for violent gods and scary stories.

Good, good to hear from you. Enjoy your vacation. My gramma always said it's so much easier to get things into perspective when you're on vacation. Enjoy.

The INTJ Personality Type, (and those close to it)
by done4good ini am compelled to write a bit about this at this late hour here in the us, because it is keeping me up.. the recent four year old thread on the briggs myers personality type test that was dug up, produced an interesting finding.
many here, (at least tested informally for), the intj personality type.
intjs also do not understand irrational behavior particularly well at all.. why does this matter?

Also, the type change can have to do with whether you are depressed when you take the test.

The Bible being a bronze age book is actually something Christians claim.
Funny, I've never once heard anyone claim the Bible is a bronze age book, Christian or otherwise. I went to churches until I was 12 and since I left the JWs. Not ever a mention of the bronze age.

I am not an INTJ.
For those who took the test years ago, find more than one test version and take the tests again. Your type can change. I never was an INTJ, but my personality type has changed from ENFP to INFP and back to ENFP. And there was a time when I tested as something else. I have tested ENFP more often though. I know both INFPs and ENFPs who are ex jws.

everything happened so fast, 1999 back from patterson, 2000 inactive and no longer an elder, 2001 smoking everything that planet earth offers, and now in love with a girl for a couple of months.

I would tell people that it doesn't define you, we are all individuals, but it can give you insight as to why you do the things you do.
Another important part of this for us all to keep in mind: our personalities can change with experience and time, so though you may test as one personality at 22, you might test as another at 30. Your I and E can change depending on how you are feeling emotionally.

Isn't it funny how just one little letter can make such a difference in personalities?

Finally some good news for us nonbeleivers! :)
by suavojr inpope francis assures atheists: you dont have to believe in god to go to heaven.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/pope-francis-assures-atheists-you-dont-have-to-believe-in-god-to-go-to-heaven-8810062.html.
in comments likely to enhance his progressive reputation, pope francis has written a long, open letter to the founder of la repubblica newspaper, eugenio scalfari, stating that non-believers would be forgiven by god if they followed their consciences.. responding to a list of questions published in the paper by mr scalfari, who is not a roman catholic, francis wrote: you ask me if the god of the christians forgives those who dont believe and who dont seek the faith.

Before you know it, this pope is going to progress to universalism.

How Pioneering has prepared me for multiple Dates
by KateWild ini have two more dates this week.
keeping track of who is who and showing them a "genuine" interest has been fun to say the least.
i can prepare for each "return visit" in advance and take notes after each date.. so is this ethical?.

Kate, where are you? I hope you haven't posted because you are too busy with in person life to open JWN.
I was thinking, if you are getting so many offers for dates, why not cull some of the less promising profiles? Stick with the more promising profiles and make it all high quality.
Have your own list of red flags and pay attention to your intuition.
